Pho Lily & Mongolian BBQ — Restaurant in La Habra

Was there with my parents a few weeks ago. Pros: decent price Con: looks dirty. One of the dishes I ordered was appetizer combo. The dumplings were cheap frozen kind that they burnt. It was so badly burnt that I am surprised they served it to us that way. My parents had pho. They said it was bad. They said it was greasy and meat was cheap, thin and un-flavorful. I had spring rolls. They were decent. So only spring rolls were decent and other two dishes were bad. The owner lady kept giving us an evil eye. Not sure why. I think she may be upset due to no customers. Yes, the place was pretty empty. Will never go there again. I was very surprise how bad this place was given the high google review ratings. Maybe at some point this place was good but they experienced some set backs. It maybe due to bad location. The restaurant is in a corner that is hardly visible. I rarely give small tips but I did this time so that management thinks about their operations in reflective way. I knew moment I walked in; the place was dirty. Even in front of the restaurant was dirty and messy. I had a bad feeling. Was open minded, gave it a chance and back...

The food was very tasty. This was my second time here. Today we had very bad service. When we walked in, we were not greeted so we saw a corner booth empty and sat down. The lady with blonde hair stood by the cash register. after we sat for a few minutes we decided to grab a menu from another table. This lady then walked up to a gentleman that walked outside as we came in and he told her that we took his seat. News to me. Looked like he was leaving. There was nothing on the table that indicated someone was sitting there. When she came to take our order she was cold. We ordered and asked go hot tea. The tea came back cold and tasted like water. We did let her know that the tea was cold. Second pot also came cold. Not once did she come back to our table. But we did see her at the man's table. When the man left she told him good night loud enough for him to hear. Later we realized that she never even asked us if we wanted a large bowl or regular bowl. I had a different point of view before writing this review, but certain things happened that led me to writing about my experience firstly I would like to say the food is delicious love there Mongolian bbq but the chief made a mistake that almost got me beat up by some other people that also ate at this establishment he gave me another person's food by mistake when I asked him for simple sesame seeds I notified him when I received the dish he nodded at me but I don't believe he spoke English the waiter then cam down to ask me if that was mine I said no and gave them the plate but the other persons didn't want it keep in mind that at this point I didn't touch their food after I paid and left the older gentleman who's food jt was came out and threatened me for taking there food he kept harassing me till I left I'm absolutely disgusted & disappointed by the staff not admitting there mistake I was almost assaulted by there stupid mistake I should be suing them for this I will never come back and will make sure everyone knows to stay away from...
