This is the newly renovated downtown square in Garland, Texas. It is a great place to take the family for some fun! There is a playground for the kids, a lush lawn and even a small maze for the kids. Shops surround the square, and there is a really neat guitar shop and old school arcade. Visiting the square is completely free and the location is close to Dallas and accessible from the dart rail.

This was a FREE event. Christmas on the square, this year was spectacular! Amazing band opening concert!!! Garland raised the bar for Christmas events. The Christmas tree looks fantastic and the setting for Santa super cool. Parking was free!! It was one of the best Christmas events this year so far. Thank you Garland city for giving its citizens this amazing free event for the holidays.
