We recently moved out to Garland. We tend to go to a particular restaurant and Addison because we moved from Dallas, far north Dallas. We started with the eggrolls, vegetarian, and the dipping sauce was phenomenally good and tasted like it had honey in it! My wife got the Green Chili at level three heat and I always do noodles so I ordered the Drunken noodles at Thai style level eight. Both meals were quite tasty and I ordered mine without sugar so for me that was really wonderful. However, at the place we go Addison my wife green chili usually comes with eggplant and she missed that even though there were a lot of vegetables in there. And I forgot to say undercooked everything from the tofu to the noodles to the vegetables I like things closer to raw. I didn’t change that. They worked really hard to get it there, and the foods that we have mentioned are very very good. You like Thai food, I would highly recommend coming to this restaurant, there is an absolutely delicious experience and should be shared with others, they deserve that, they work very hard to make you feel serviced bring you good food, and it was very clean, and I mean very clean enjoy, they have a large menu and they know what they’re doing when it comes to food and service and...
Read moreWant to preface that I have only ever ordered through UberEats and have not yet eaten at the actual restaurant. I usually don’t like to order at the same spot more than once with all the choices available for delivery but Blue Rat is an exception! I’ve ordered several times already and will probably keep ordering again and again. The name may not sound appetizing but the food says otherwise. I had a good feeling from the pictures that it would be a delicious.
You know that satisfying feeling when you have a vivid idea of what a dish should taste like and the food you order not only meets but EXCEEDS your expectations? That’s what Blue Rat gave to me. It’s sooo good that I wanted to cry happy tears lol. I haven’t been able to take photos of the food because I would finish it before I remember to take pictures. The Beef Pad See Ew and Three Tastes Fish are my absolute faves and can’t get enough of it. Even after the food sits for a while to get delivered, the food tastes fresh and the fish is still crispy. Mind you, we’re about 30 min away from the restaurant.
I can’t wait to dine in and taste the food right after it’s prepared. I can’t imagine how much more fresh it can get....
Read moreOh my.... If you're looking for anything CLOSE to Thai food....THIS is the place. My fiance and I have been to Thailand and are major foodies and this wins our stamp of approval. We had the basil stir fry, the pineapple fried rice, and their Tom kha soup. It was everything we'd hoped for and we devoured our meals entirely with not a bite to spare. The portions are very generous, so for us to kill our food like that says a lot. But let me mention the counter service, that is what blew us away. The young gentleman working the evening we went who took our order was so polite and friendly and very patient with us. That means so much to us considering that service has really gone down at other restaurants with covid. They just earned themselves lifetime customers. We vowed to make this our Thai go to from now on. Authentic Thai is hard to come by, if you appreciate the cuisine than you have...
