So what can I say about Timber Crossings Shopping? It runs the whole Gambit from far left scary ghetto land to midway comfort to upscale top of the line dining. We start with some shady businesses, one is a cigarette/vape/omg are they actually selling weed here? store to a Food Lion which is hit or miss as far as actually having good products stocked, to a super bougie Muse Coffee place where the coffee is amazing but the food is meh, then Big Ed's Country Kitchen which is the perfect little restaurant place for some cheap southern food served with love, to a Little Caesars which is the most toxic food ever, to some strange boutique which sells super fancy dresses which appear to cater to the Muslim and Latino Quinciera community (think prom dress from the 1980s), to Alexander's Mediterranean Cuisine restaurant which is a super fancy Greek restaurant with a chef from Athens with gourmet food and an extremely beautiful decor. Then you have a post office and a Dental office, a nail place and a McDonald's.
Basically it is all of life and all walks of life shoved into one strip mall. If you're a well rounded person who wants cheap cigs, cheap groceries, a good cup of coffee, and you're debating between garbage fast food or a place to take your significant other to propose to while enjoying a weird warp into a fancy Greek restaurant which really feels like you are in Greece, this is your go to...
Read moreMaybe my favorite shopping center near my house. The only problem is that the parking lot is a mess. All the other shipping centers nearby are much cleaner (they hire a street sweeper to vacuum their parking lots at night and they have fresh asphalt as well no put holes and tough areas). One night I was picking up trash along the store fronts because there was a bunch of napkins that someone had dropped and as soon as I picked up the last one one of the food lion employees was blowing trash off of their sidewalk in to the parking lot. The stores need to take responsibility for this and someone needs to hold them accountable. The landscaping company picks up trash once a week during their visit but it shouldn't be their job. It takes away a large chunk of their budgeted man hours when they could be used for other things. If these things were tightened up I would rate timber crossings...
Read moreThis was my first time being in this area, but I found it bustling with patrons, visiting the various stores. A one stop shopping center for sure. It's got it all, from Cleaners, Restaurants, Banking, and Care Service Center. Not a small one but a 4 bay one. All of them were fully being use. Another positive sign that the Community was coming back alive from being shutdown from COVID. I visited the grocery store, Food Lion. There's a McDonald's there too. Wow! What a good combination. Grab a bite, then spend the morning running chores, dropping off the cleaners, grabbing a morning meal, while making out a shopping list. Try it out. Follow me. See you on a visit 😊...amended write up. I found some other fantastic services here today, post office, nail salon, restaurants, and other special services. Really good...
