This was my 2nd visit and it was before even 2 weeks of my initial visit because 3 of my nails were already broken. I mentioned to the person at the front that I needed a few layers of dip powder to strengthen & protect my nails so that it wouldnât happen again. They put me with someone who was being trained and brand new instead of giving me someone who could take good care of me and ensure that I come back. This isnât really a good business practice or a great way to get & keep new clients. I love the massage idea and the place is clean but if I canât get a good manicure then whatâs the point? Iâm a bit disappointed and have looked through the reviews to see if thereâs any specific nail tech that is highly recommended but I canât find anything. đ I really want to like this place because it would be so convenient! Not sure if Iâll give it a 3rd try⌠That was my initial visit and Iâve been there 4 times since because I found Karla who is great but more recently Iâve learned that you canât schedule online or via text because it turns out that they donât actually give you your choice of technicians & this week Lin did my nails. She was rude and rough, pulling my hands, twisting my fingers, & hurting my nail beds with the file. She rushed through and did a terrible job and just made me feel like she was annoyed to have to do my nails and I even brought her another client (my daughter). Two days later my nail broke so I reached out to have Karla fix my nails but whoever answered my text gave me misinformation AGAIN so when I come to the salon for my appointment it turns out that sheâs not available again. So now the owner comes to the front to find out whatâs going on and explains that I need to make appointments 2 weeks in advance & that I canât have them fixed today by Karla but that someone can fix the broken nail, no apology for the misunderstanding on their part. Customer service is just NOT a priority...
Read moreIâve been going to this salon now for a few months and I really liked it. Yesterday I went in and to get an SNS manicure and a regular pedicure. I asked the lady if I could have my hands and feet be the same color green, she struggled to find same color I initially picked in the powder and polish. I then told her I would be happy to pick a new color so they would match since I saw her struggling. I went with a new color, she grabbed the matching power and polish and started my pedicure. Once my pedicure was done, I was guided to the manicure section to get my SNS manicure. A different lady was doing my manicure and when she started I realized that the color was a completely different shade of green than what was on my toes. After a few minutes of mentally debating whether or not I should speak up, I kindly asked the lady doing my manicure if I could get a polish change on my toes so the color would match my nails, to which she said no problem. While sheâs wrapping up my manicure, she has some of the other employees trying to find the matching green color for my feet. They were running around the salon pulling every color off the selves from turquoise blue to neon green- none of them being even remotely close to the color I was asking for. I started to get anxious since it was causing a scene and the colors were way off and I told them it was fine and to just leave my toes how they were since none of them could seem to color match. Instead of listening to me, the nail tech doing my manicure insisted on changing my toe nail polish even though it was clear that I wasnât going to be walking out of the salon with the nails that I asked for. I tried telling her it was okay and to not worry about it, and she proceeded to get up and try to find the matching color herself while my manicure...

Iâm writing this review with a heavy heart because what was supposed to be a joyful and memorable day turned into a huge disappointment for my daughter and her friends.
For her birthday, my daughter asked to get her nails and feet done with her little friends. Theyâre all five years old, and I made sure to call Angel Tips ahead of time to confirm that theyâd be okay accommodating a group of young girls. The woman I spoke to on the phone was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made me feel confident and excited to bring the girls in.
However, when we arrived, the tone quickly changed. The woman at the front (Iâm not sure of her name) immediately started going over pricing, which I told her was fineâwe had an appointment, and I had called ahead. I explained it was my daughterâs birthday and that we were here to celebrate with a fun little nail day.
Thatâs when she told me the girls needed to be quiet or they wouldnât be serviced, because there were other clients in the salon. While I understand and respect that salons aim to create a relaxing environment, the way it was communicated felt harsh and unkind. The girls were just excitedâitâs not every day you turn five and get to have a spa day with your best friends.
I calmly told her we would leave, and she didnât seem to mind. We were essentially pushed out the door.
There was a very sad birthday girl and her equally disappointed friends. I truly wish the experience had matched the kindness I received over the phone. Businesses have every right to set boundaries, but how they communicate themâespecially to families with childrenâmakes all...
