Don’t shop here unless you wanna be attached one foot in the door they most definitely don’t not want or need it ur money if you have children I was literally one foot in the door and was chastised into what I need to do with my kids they didn’t give me a chance to see how well behaved my children were or give me a chance to talk to them about not touching they should let you as a parent walk in the store and observe how it children behave before the scold you and ur children if they would have given me 2 min in the store they would have seen how well behaved my children are… I did not like the aggressive attack to my children so I walked out the door following walking out the door the owner was aggressive towards something about Covid and I’m guessing that’s why she thought we left the store was because of hand sanitizer had nothing to do with hand sanitizer we appreciated the fact they offered hand sanitizer wish more stores would offer that we solely left due to the aggressive behavior with the lady behind the counter we will be sharing this review on our instagram page as well as following that instagram is my full time job… first time giving a 1 star review this store needs to observe parents and children before attaching them… example
Give a family a few minutes in ur store to observe them that will give you two options one, you can see they are well behaved and stay with parents. two, the kids are crazy and you need to address it with parent that way ur not offending every single person that walks into ur store...

I only asked if they were “pet” friendly. The employee was very unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. She asked if the dog was a service animal and I said “no”. I was about to say, “Thank you anyway and have a great afternoon” but she continued on to tell me she only allows service animals with documentation or else I could carry my dog around (as she presented a sarcastic smirk).
Yes, please have me carry around my extremely obedient and calm 40lb dog because that makes sense. All she had to say was that they only allow service animals or that she’s NOT pet friendly. That’s it.
After departing, we took our business elsewhere to a pet friendly store with polite staff and spent just under $800.00. If you’re traveling with your pet, you should have no issues anywhere else. We didn’t. This was our 5th time back to Gatlinburg and this was the ONLY store that we encountered that didn’t allow our dog. It’s a very pet friendly town and some of the restaurants even have dog menus.
By ADA and Tennessee laws an individual can inquire if it’s a service animal but any public accommodation cannot demand proof of disability or seek paperwork regarding the training of the service animal 42 USC 12182(c)(6). I actually respect those with disabilities and K9 handlers. If you’re going to get cocky and disrespectful at least know the law. Shame on...
Read moreWe've always loved coming and seeing the new snow globes and getting any personalized gifts for friends or family, and we found what we were looking for, just none of the holiday spirit. The lady doing personalizations had finished our sign for a friend, which she was not so friendly as she took down the names but I figured it was because I was having trouble keeping my friends' kid's names in order. But as I walked up and said it looked amazing, she made a eye roll face and snatched up the sign and set it on the tip jar. I was planning on tipping, as I always do, but her attitude was just unnecessary and unexpected. Then we go to checkout, and the lady was kind at first, but the minute we asked about their military discount she turned cold, "are you active or retired?" and my husband who is a purple heart veteran and who has always been uncomfortable asking for the discount replied "does medically retired count?", to which she replied '" are you even medically retired?", my husband broke his back and neck in an IED explosion in Afghanistan, so yep. And she huffed but finally checked us out. Not so holly jolly. Probably will not return, but I'm optimistic they may...
