Funopolis Family Fun Center — Attraction in Georgia

Took my grandkids, 2 minutes after entering they had a "code black" evacuation. No cops, no fire trucks or ambulance, so not sure what "code black means for an evacuation. No other explanation was given but they offered free mini golf, which we had to go back into the bldg to get the golf equipment. It was so hot outside after about 45 minutes I went inside to find other customers in playing. No one bothered to announce that we could come back in. We went to the spider zone, there was a young boy stuck inside crying with the straps pinching his privates, the attendant just stood there looking at him and didnt do anything to help him. I sent my husband in to help get the poor kid out. One of the bowling alleys was out of order, we tried to sign up for Laser Tag but had to wait 2 1/2 hours because all the jackets weren't work, we took them on the mini karts and the were only allowed 4 laps around the track and there was no one else waiting. My guess is that the assistant didnt want to be in the heat. We went to the bouncy houses where we had to stand and wait for someone to let us in. There was another boy who came in who was chasing my grandson down the slide and landing on him and the assistant just stood there watching his phone. Several of the games didnt work even after taking the money off the card. The staff and or assistants were young teen age kids that were so unpleasant and not helpful. They would see us standing in line and not come over unless we asked them too. Absolutely a DISAPPOINTING DAY!!! After reading the reviews and seeing someone giving a 1star and the company response was glad you had fun, I know realize why this place is ridiculous, pay attention...

We celebrated my sons 5th birthday here, it was nice and big, but cleaning was not done so well in rooms 3 & 4, after sitting on one of the benches and pulling my foot out there was a massive piece of cake stuck to my shoe, and we hadn’t even done cake or anything yet. The table where we put the cake was dirty, had previous cake icing on it. We had less than expected people show, and our party director was wayyy too overwhelmed, she kept going back to the manager but at that point the manager should have just came out. She was stressing over each person had to have a massive amount of cheese balls on their plate because we paid for a certain amount and needed to take that amount, rather than just putting it all in a box or giving us the whole jar of cheese balls, which that’s what it lead to, which probably embarrassed the worker, because we had to stop her and just ask for the whole thing rather than putting 3 cups of cheese puffs on our plates that we were not going to eat. We paid for 4 pizzas and ate maybe 1, and let the workers eat and keep the rest. We didn’t get refunded for all the stuff we didn’t eat or use but that’s okay, I think the managers just need better communication with their party leaders under them so they aren’t so stressed out. We paid for the mini bowling, half the balls were missing, and took about 10 mins to even get up running. After the night we returned to the room to get our belongings and were told we were not allowed to enter as there was another party there already, my car and work keys were in there and now are lost and haven’t been found. As Far as things to do I give this place 5 stars. It was my first visit here and the kids were really excited when we arrived I purchased wristbands that gave them access to all attractions I figured we can come back to purchase game cards when they were done with the attractions. Well that went left quickly we my daughter wanted to get on I guess it was a indoor playground bounce house I’m not sure but when she tried to get on she didn’t have socks so we were told she needed socks but then we see five other kids coming out with no socks on so we were like they don’t have socks and she said she just noticed they didn’t and I’m like you didn’t notice five kids didn’t have socks on but you noticed my one didnt have socks on immediately and I do understand socks are required but it was just the principle anyway we got socks but never went back to get on I then went to purchase game cards and the lady proceeds to tell me internet went down which I understand but then there were people behind me that seemed to purchase game cards no problem instead of her telling if you just wait a second I can get those cards for you she just said I can’t do anything right now we left after this incident cause at this point I feel like I waisted my money my time and my kids didn’t get the full experience that I only imagined they would have I personally will probably never visit this...
