THEY MESSED WITH OUR FOOD!!! DO NOT EAT HERE
We visited this Taco Bell on March 29th at around 3 PM and placed a mobile order. Following the instructions, we pulled into the mobile order lane and gave our name and what we believed was our order number. The employee at the speaker responded, but we couldn't clearly hear her, so we proceeded to the window.
When we arrived, the employee at the window immediately yelled at us, berating us for not waiting at the speaker and for supposedly giving the wrong order number. Caught off guard, we repeatedly apologized and explained that we simply couldn’t hear her through the speaker. A few minutes later, another employee came to the window, asked for our name, and confirmed our order—while the first employee, visibly upset, appeared to be talking negatively about us inside.
When we finally received our drinks, both were made incorrectly. The new Strawberry Baja Freeze was missing the strawberry component entirely. Given the already hostile experience, we chose not to say anything. Then, we received our food. The bag was completely open and unsealed, and the cravings box lid wasn’t even closed properly. The same employee handed over the food without a word and immediately shut the window.
We initially planned to eat in the parking lot, but when my daughter opened her cravings box, we saw that her taco was torn along with the wrapping paper, making it impossible to eat in the car. We decided to take the food home—thankfully, because when we emptied the bag, we realized our order had been completely mishandled. Not only was my daughter’s taco ripped, but the entire bag looked like the food had just been thrown in carelessly. Some burritos weren’t even wrapped, and one had what appeared to be Doritos stuck to it—despite the fact that we hadn’t ordered anything with Doritos.
Additionally, we had requested enough sauces to match our order, which totaled over $20. Instead, we were given only four mild sauce packets—not nearly enough. At this point, it seemed clear that our food had been prepared out of spite. Out of concern for potential tampering, I told my daughter not to eat anything. Ultimately, we threw the entire order away.
We reached out to Taco Bell customer support via the app but have yet to receive any response. I strongly urge others to avoid this location. If they treated our order this way, who knows what they might...
Read moreWe went to the commerce Taco Bell after going to a location in Gainesville. In Gainesville we were able to place an order for the “Discovery Box” at the counter without having to use the app. So we assumed the same was available at the Commerce location. It was not. We pulled into the drive through and were told we had to use the app. Okay, no problem. We come back around to sit in the moble order drive-thru line, because cars were trying to exit the parking lot and we were not intending on going inside this time around. We were greeted before we reached the speaker to order but we let the associate know we needed one second. After about a minute she said “Name on the mobile”, we didn’t say anything because we were talking to each other. She said it again and we still didn’t respond because we were trying to hurry and finish the order. She then screamed at us and said “Name on the mobile!” again, so loud that the speaker started to clip. We then asked her for “One second please, just one second!” We then said the name on the order but received no response, so we drove around. When we went to the window, the same associate cut me off mid sentence to let me know I needed to go back around because my order was placed after someone in the drive-thru line. I asked for a manager and unfortunately she was just as rude. As I tried to explain the situation to her, she cut me off as well asking “So, what is it you need my help with?”. If she would have just let me finish she probably could’ve found that out, huh? I told her the situation and her excuse for the screaming was “The drive-thru started counting when you got a certain distance from the speaker.” That doesn’t justify your employee screaming so loud that the speaker becomes raspy and shaky. She did allow us to pull forward and just have the food brought to us. But the food was wrong. So we went in to correct it, and you’ll never believe this…yes, it was still wrong. At this point, we don’t even want the food so we attempted to get a refund but of course you have to do that through a third-party. We tried to call, but nobody would answer and we waited on hold for almost 20 minutes. This isn’t even the first time we’ve had very unprofessional and rude service, so it’s not really surprising but it’s definitely disappointing and frustrating when you take a chance to spend your money there again. 0/10 would...
Read moreIf I could give this Taco Bell zero stars, I would — and even that feels too generous after the absolute disaster I just experienced. I placed and paid for a mobile order in advance, only to sit stuck in the secondary drive-through line for 40 minutes while three cars in the other lane — who arrived after me — were served. The lady behind me had to call the restaurant to make them acknowledge that we were even present. Not a single employee acknowledged the wait or offered an explanation. When I finally got to the window, I was casually told my order was “no longer available” — with zero remorse, no offer to remake it, no refund, and not even the bare minimum of an apology. Just a shrug and a “too bad.” I have worked in fast food. You do whatever to rectify the situation. They did not care.
To make matters worse, the employee delivering this pathetic excuse for customer service couldn’t even be bothered to wear her uniform properly. Her shirt was wide open, and my child — sitting in the car — got a front-row view of her bra. Completely unprofessional and wildly inappropriate.
This location is an absolute joke — sloppy, disorganized, and run by employees who clearly couldn’t care less about customers, their time, or even the basics of acting like they have a job to do. If this is the level of service Taco Bell finds acceptable, count me all the way out — and trust me, I’ll be making sure everyone I know avoids this place like the plague.
Fix it, retrain your staff, or shut this...
