I got a pedicure and gel manicure from Victoria yesterday, and I am beyond impressed. She paid so much attention to detail and my nails came out perfect! On top of this, Victoria is also really fun to talk to. I will definitely be back.

Edit 7/10/17: I've been back twice since my fist review, and unfortunately the level of service received was pretty disappointing both times. My first return visit I got a pedicure and SNS manicure. Callous removal on the pedicure was minimal, and the polish on the manicure was gritty looking and not smooth. I went back 2 days later, and they fixed the polish on my manicure, but it took 45 minutes because he kept buffing of the top layer of polish and repainting it (3-4 times), because it kept smearing when he wiped the oil over it. He blamed it on the product he was using. Idk if that was actually the problem...

I decided to give them another try since my first visit was so good, and they were nice enough to fix my messed up mani last time. I will say this - the massage I received during my pedicure was AMAZING and I literally dozed off while he wad rubbing my calves and feet. Unfortunately I had another bad mani experience. For some reason when you get SNS you are apparently only getting your nails done and no other typical aspect of a manicure. No cuticles, no lotion, no hand massage. $37 seems kind of steep for polish only. On top of this, I asked for SNS color number 9, as they are all labeled by number. Apparently whoever labels the powders writes 9s and 6s the same, so before I noticed it was the wrong color (I did show the tech which color I wanted on top of telling her the number) I had a layer of flat "flamingo pink" on one whole hand before I realized it was not the soft sparkly pink I had asked for. So, instead of removing the wrong color and starting fresh with the one i asked for she insisted on doing a base coat of flamingo pink under the color I wanted, which resulted in my nails being bright bubble gum pink. NOT what i wanted. I could overlook getting the wrong color if the manicurist was actually paying attention to what she was doing, but she spent as much time doing my nails as she did staring at every person who walked in the door, stopping what she was doing so she could watch other people's conversations, making change for people, and completely turning away from me to have conversations with the other nail techs. My "manicure" (read: polish change) took an hour and a half. I don't know about you, but i don't want to spend all afternoon in the nail salon getting ignored, and ending up with the wrong color.

Let me provide context before I give my review.

I have been to this location many a time and been fully satisfied. I also usually come mid day.

Yesterday I happened to show up late at 6 PM when they do close at 7 PM. Knowing this, I knew that I was going to get a Gel manicure that was done quickly.

While my nail tech was friendly, the job was done poorly. Once again, I understand I showed up at 6 PM and they do close at 7 PM. However, when I walked in, I asked for a simple gel manicure in the color 061 winterberry no acrylic no tips just my nail a simple in an out process. I did have previous on in the same color. Not only did it take the entire hour, but steps were missed. I was cut, and the overall manicure was in poor detail my Fingertips had nail color on them, which was not fixed. My cuticles were messy and not well cleaned up. I also did not get the full manicure and yet I was still charged the full price of the manicure. I did not leave a tip felt rushed to leave now I get it. I did come in late and I did ask if they had time to provide me with a gel manicure to which the person at the front desk said yes, so the responsibility does fall Upon the company to make sure customer satisfaction occurs. If they could not provide proper service and value, the person at the front desk should have indicated that they did not have the time and turned me away. I understand the need to make money, I would’ve paid very well in tips if my service would’ve been provided fully if they stayed late after closing and provided me with what they said they were gonna do which was a standard gel manicure I would have paid generously because I took up their time after closing unfortunately that did not happen. I used to live very close by. I enjoyed this location very much however, I Do not think I will be back in the future, unfortunately, it was the last straw. There were other tiny little things on previous visits that I just cannot overlook. You cannot skip steps in a manicure or pedicure process and expect to Charge full price and expect a tip as well, I guess you could say this is the tipping point for me to go ahead and buy my own personal gel, manicure kit online and do it myself. It is sad because I really truly did enjoy going and getting my manicures and pedicures as a splurge to myself for working hard.

Update! Owner reached out to make it right and remove the issue, I did indicate it was not necessary, however I was thankful the owner was so fast to respond and accommodating! Thank you. I will definitely give them another...

UPDATE ON MY REVIEW: after I posted my review I got a response from the salon about a full refund for the horrible quality of the work since they were beautiful when I left the salon but didn't last a week. I called and texted about getting my full refund to give them another chance and never got any response back. I have a very busy schedule and dont have time to just stop by. I wanted to speak with them first so i could plan ahead. This is super unprofessional and outright disrespectful to do to your customers. If you tell a customer you're going to make it right then do so. NOT just say it in the response of my review to make your place of business look better. I gave PLENTY of time and patience for them to come through with a response or call back and got nothing.... this place may good for some people but my personal opinion avoid them at all cost. They don't truly care about their clients. They don't even deserve 1 star from me. Extremely unsatisfied with they way they dealt with this situation.

MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: I went and got my nails done and after 4 days 3 of my nails were already coming off. I went back to get it fixed and they just glued them back on. 3 days later, one of the nails they fixed snapped off and only the tip stayed on then an hour later another nail snapped in half. I'm really disappointed in the quality of the nails and my cuticles looked awful. The nails looked beautiful when I left the salon when I initially had them done but they don't last for crap. I spent $165 for a full set and a pedicure. The pedicure i got i always get gel polish and the design I got on my big toe was rubbing off by the second day of me working in my work shoes. I won't be coming back to this place. They do good art but the products they used were not quality and definitely not...
