Rocket Fizz — Attraction in Gilbert

Awesome selection of craft soda from all around the country, they had some varieties I really liked from Rocky Mountain Soda. They have a great selection of craft root beer, they have some of their craft sodas in the fridges and the rest are scattered all around their hole in the wall store that is packed to the brim with sugar. I really liked their selection, amazing variety.

The one thing I did not like was their pricing. I had sticker shock on their candy prices and decided not to get their $7.49/ea 3.52oz Toblerone which is $2.84/ea at Walmart (that is a +163% markup). I was going to get a king size Reese's cup candy for a friend, it was $5.49 or so which is $1.97 at Walmart (that is a +178% markup). I could go to the gas station and get candy cheaper than at this candy store.

Rocket Fizz have some of the worst pricing I have ever seen in the entire valley, which is crazy because I was just at Sweetie's candy store and I thought their prices were high. Rocket Fizz is borderline scam level, I might have to go to the movie theater now to compare prices.

Each craft soda was around $3-$3.50 which is high but is more acceptable than their candy prices. They were selling a small bag of bin-it-yourself taffy for $9.99 and a big bag for $12.99, now I don't know the weights on these because the sign says fill the bag until full, but I know Sweetie's is $6.99/pound bulk pricing for their taffy, so quite a bit higher here on that front as well.

They do have a great selection of craft sodas and candy from all around the country/world, so, if there's something rare you're looking for, you might find it here but it's going to be expensive. Do not go to this candy store for candy you can find at a regular store, go here for the random rare world candy you can't find. If you visit this location, I want you to look at the prices of the candy, you'll then understand why it's 2/5 stars.

Went to the store with my wife and daughters after eating at a restaurant nearby. We were walking around the store with a basket filling it up with candy when all of a sudden the lady behind the counter confronted me and said I saw you put the Haribos in your bag. I was shocked and handed her my bag to which she looked in and said "oh ok nevermind" and handed it back. I told my daughters put the basket back we are leaving. I was shopping for candy for mothers day and was accused of stealing in front of my wife and daughters with no apology whatsoever. When we were walking out she yelled from the counter "have a GREAT day!" in a sarcastic voice. Horrible customer service! We used to visit this spot every time we were in Gilbert and after that I will NEVER step foot inside another Rocket Fizz. The employees name is Ellen and this happened...
