From the moment you walk in, you realize this is not your typical Sushi joint. It's very open and we'll lit. The staff is super friendly and the menus options are diverse. I happened to show up during happy hour. The deals are awesome. Many rolls, nigiri and appetizers are on discount. It's the perfect start to any evening out. My girlfriend is not a sushi fan, but was able to choose from several options. I had a Cowgirl roll. It was a true raw fish option with a generous serving of white tail. 10 bucks during happy hour. It was better than the 20 buck rolls at more trendy places. The fish was fresh, the serving size was perfect and the preparation was picture perfect. We sat at the bar and got a front row seat at the amazing staff. They truly care about the customers. They even got my girlfriend to try real sushi for the first time. By making her a mini peice of white tail. This is now my Sushi joint for sure. The restroom was super clean. The dining room was also super clean. I was so happy back in 2016 to 2018 when I used to order the Large Sushi Pizza, my buddy Dusty Hanshaw got me hooked on it, he would always tell me to order once I got there cause it would take a min to cook. I've gone 5 times to the Frankloyd Dr and Scottsdale Sushi Broker and I've received my pizza burnt, with nothing on it and blantenly forgot my orders, dont get me wrong the manager would cover my family's meal for the night but I wouldn't eat sushi pizza. I found the down town Gilbert Sushi Broker, and yes again, 5 times they forgot about my pizza , burnt it up and didn't add the toppings. This last time on my BDay Dec 6th 2023 I said imma give them a last chance. And again failed, got two pizzas brought to me burnt and full of some grease, even my girlfriend got upset cause she told the the waitress it was my bday and they announce my bday to another booth which they were confused. I won't go here no more, yeah it was free food, but never is it gonna taste the same. Gilbert and Scottsdale Sushi Broker.

Dinning for two: a California, a Spicy Yellowtail, and a full Sushi Pizza was way too much. I haven't been that stuffed in a while. And let me just say the Sushi Pizza was amazing. Soy paper base loaded with nigiri and few other odds and ends to boot. I'm not quite sure what the cheese was, but it was perfect with the rest of the pizza. Dipping the square pizza in soy sauce (mixed with wasabi of course!) only added to the flavor. The soy paper crust added a satisfying crunch with every bite (just what I want out of a square pizza). It was definitely a satisfying pizza but I would have liked a topping with more of a crunch as well on top (like crab) to round out the flavor. Also some bites we're cheesier than others. Some of the final slices I had were super cheesy (although that might have been a product of the taste getting stronger as I ate it). I would recommend the full pizza to 3 hungry people. Overall I really like this place and will probably be back to try some of their none sushi options.

My wife and I live walking distance to downtown Gilbert so we spend a lot of money on food down here. When we heard there was a sushi place coming to town, we couldn't be more excited. However, after our visit we were left feeling really disappointed.

When we arrived, we sat at the sushi bar. The first thing we noticed was how disorganized everything was. The people making the sushi were placing the finished plates randomly on a metal table behind them. The servers would then walk up and pick up random sushi and take them to the respective tables. I would watch as the old rolls would sit there without being taken while the new rolls would go out first. There was clearly not enough room back behind the sushi bar as you had people constantly running into each other and looking confused in general.

After about 10 minutes and when we placed our order, another couple sat next to us. Our order seemed to be taking a really long time and to our surprise, the couple next to us had 3 rolls delivered to them before we had anything delivered to us. Due to the fact that the service was also pretty bad and nobody checked on us, I had to track down a waitress to see what was taking so long and to find out why we hadn't had our food even though we clearly had our order in before the couple next to us.

Like I said above, I had been really watching the sushi go out as I was really hungry at that time. I noticed that one of our rolls was made but it was just sitting there for what seemed like 10 minutes. During this time, I saw as employees would walk by it and lightly brush it with their shirt or arm because of how cramped it was. When I told the waitress it was taking a while, she reached for that roll and tried to give it to us. I was so disgusted that I had to tell them to remake it (which was the first time I ever had to do anything like that). The waitress and the people making the sushi clearly got pretty angry about this, and I felt bad, but I was not going to eat that roll after what I saw.

Most of the above probably would not have happened had our server actually checked on us. The entire time we were probably checked on twice.

When we finally got our rolls, we were really disappointed. We ordered 2 Cali rolls and 1 Las Vegas roll. The Cali rolls were falling apart before we even touched them. They were also pretty bad and really chewy. The Las Vegas roll was pretty good though so that was a plus.

After that, we got out of there and went somewhere else because we were still pretty hungry. I am writing this review because I genuinely hope this place changes for the better. We are not going to come back for quite a while though. $40 will buy me a much better meal at the places...

The two stars is because the food was decent. Everything else was a disaster! Disclaimer: I am in the industry and am fully aware of the staffing challenges that plague restaurants. With the being said, there seemed to be no management available or leading. We arrived and were told a table would be ready in 15 minutes. The hostess took our name and we told her we would be at the bar. We waited at a sticky bar and had to flag the bartender for cocktail menus. She brought back a sticky cocktail menu with a kids menu stuck to it. We made a quick decision then waited 5 minutes for her to return. We ordered a Hendricks Martini up with a twist and a Hendricks and tonic.it took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. The tonic was flat! When we asked her to replace it, she said it was a new bottle of tonic and wouldn't redo the drink. My wife said she would drink it. My martini was barely chilled. This is the point at which we should have left! But, we agreed they were busy and we would share with the server what had happened. At 35 minutes and tables available, I finally went to the host stand and she said "oh, I thought you were eating at the bar". We we sat with put menus and once again had to ask for them AGAIN. When the server center we told her we would like two more drinks. We explained the last problem with the last round, and she assured us she would resolve the issue. We ordered immediately. While the server was kind, she was not trained well, she simply typed in the order with her head down the whole time and barely made eye contact. So, the new drinks arrived exactly as the first ones did. We refused the Gin and tonic and ordered a glass of wine and I added ice to my martini. We asked that the edamame be brought first and everything together. We got the two sushi rolls first, then the tempura, then the potsticker and then, finally the edamame! The food was ok: the tempura well done, and tasty; the potstickers were tiny but tasted ok, the rolls did not taste especially fresh, although they were well constructed and the garlic edamame was good although it was slathered in disced garlic (the bottled kind). Still they were edible. There are so many personnel issues and so many places where there were fails it will be hard to return. I hope this review falls on...

Sushi Brokers was just okay. My husband & I were still on a sushi kick from the delicious, fresh San Diego sushi we had just eaten & Sushi Brokers killed that for me, lol. I'm good on sushi for a little bit now. We came about 45 minutes before happy hour (3pm - 6pm) & I wish we would have waited but whatever. I ordered tea, which was unsweetened black jasmine, when I asked for some sweetener the waitress brought over some old sugar and Splenda packets because they were all pretty much crystalized in the packets so there was just big chunks of Splenda floating in my tea. We ordered three rolls - a damn good roll, a Philly roll, & a rainbow roll. The damn good roll was just good, not damn good, but I'd order it again. The chipotle sauce on the roll really makes it special but my husband said it was a little spicy for him, I just liked the sweetness of it. The Philly roll & rainbow roll were just okay, my husband stated he tasted more cucumber in the Philly than anything. The rainbow roll was really pretty and had a good portion of raw fish. I think it could benefit from some cream cheese but that's just me. They had a pretty big selection of specialty rolls but a good amount of them did not contain raw fish. Prices were a little high, especially considering it was a Sunday & most places do all day happy hour on Sunday so I was bummed I chose to go here rather than one of those places but I'm glad I tried it. I don't think I'll be back but the service was good, our waitress was really personable & cute, & the restaurant itself is...
