AJ Noodles — Restaurant in Glendale

Okay, if you haven’t been to this pho and ramen spot, you’re seriously missing out! The whole place has such a chill, cozy vibe with this cool, modern interior that just makes you want to stay forever. It’s family-owned, so you know the love is real, and you can totally feel it the second you walk in. They treat you like fam, and honestly, it’s such a wholesome experience.

Now, the food? Literal perfection. The pho is fire—like, the broth is so rich and flavorful, it feels like it’s been cooking for days. The noodles are on point, and the fresh herbs? Chef’s kiss. And don’t even get me started on the ramen. The broth is next-level, super savory with that perfect umami hit. Plus, the noodles have that perfect chewy texture. Honestly, you’ll never look at instant ramen the same way again.

But real talk, the people running this place make it even better. They’re so friendly, and you can tell they’re really passionate about what they do. It’s like you’re eating at your cool friend's house who’s an amazing chef.

This male owner is mentally sick and his behaviour was worst. After we got done with our lunch, he opened the door and yelled on us to get out. I was with my parents, husband and brother. He kept yelling at my husband and when my husband asked what is the problem, he started clicking pictures of us and our car. He also spit on us and told never come to Asian restaurant.

The lady owner kept on getting bills while we were eating and ordering desserts in the end. When I asked to order another ramen, she said that they are out of Vegetable broth and denied service. Very absurd couple. He yelled so much that a customer had to come out and stop him.

Thought of calling cops but didn't because of parents with us who were travelling to USA for the first time hence did not want to give them a hard time.

Worst experience. Do not recommend this food...

Reply to the Owner: I'm certain I have the right restaurant. You might recognize your table, dish and napkin in my picture. This was a dine in order. If I really had to guess, I would guess that someone handled the frozen meat with gloves that shed their fibers as the fibers froze to the meat. In any case, it was more than just a few fibers. That picture was just one clump out of the many I found.

Original Review: The service was good and the food came out quick. They were REALLY friendly. The reason I'm leaving a 1 star review was because I found MANY strands of hair or fiber in my food. I think it may have been stuck to the chicken? I don't know how many I might have eaten before I noticed them. Also, the food quality seemed average.

I probably would have given this place 3 stars before I found all these...
