Scholl Canyon Estates Gracious Retirement Living — Attraction in Glendale

I was fortunate to have found Scholl Canyon for my friend, Henry. I was sure this is where he needed to be after touring the first time. It’s a family environment and it feels very homey. They offer so much for the residents in terms of activities, events and trips. The staff is kind and patient which is super important and they build relationships with the residents. I visited my friend several times a week for almost a year so I can attest to all of this. We were also fortunate to have met Naomi from Tender Loving Care at Scholl Canyon. She offers a number of caregiving services and has staff who really care. Henry really appreciated them and he always talked about how lucky he was that they took good care of him. Scholl Canyon Estates is an excellent facility for your senior loved ones. My 92 year old mom lived there for 1 1/2 years and she loved it. The only reason we moved her is because she needed a higher level of care.

Paul and Eileen, who manage the facility, will go above and beyond to make sure they (and the staff) accomodate all the residents' needs and are happy.

There is also a separate company there (TLC) that operates a caretaking business at the facility. So if you need some light to moderate care, they (TLC) can accommodate you.

Scholl has numerous fun activities, is very clean, and has recently updated the common areas. The staff are all friendly and very attentive. I actually enjoyed going there often to visit my mom and to talk with the staff.

Such a nice facility with the most incredibly sweet, caring and helpful staff. Owners take great pride in keeping the facility very clean. They have a fun activity calendar, nice library with a vast selection of books, beautiful movie room, prayer room, billiards room, outdoor garden space, beauty salon, work out room (with trained staff), and a lovely area for eating meals. All meals are served to you like at a nice restaurant. Every room in their apartments is equipped with a help pull cord in case of emergency, and they also have weekly nurse visits to help manage medications and take residents to/from doctor visits.
