St. Louis the King Catholic Church — Attraction in Glendale

This is a review for a representative of the church. I feel sadden to have to give this church such a bad review. This morning June 3 we attended your hall for baptism class. The lady Olga Rodriguez was there giving the class I had my 2 kids 5 and 10 sitting with me and my husbad. They were seated and quiet the whole time while she prepared for the class. By this time it was 8:15...She then started saying that kids weren't allowed and I went and spoke to her directly explaining to her I didn't have anyone to watch them and that we live about 45 minutes away and couldn't leave them alone. Even people around us told her it was ok of thw kids were present. (THEY WERE SITTING QUIETLY) This lady had no empathy towards my family and my situation and she is a shameful representitive of this church. We have been members of the Parish and never had any issues with anyone, we attend mass, donate to the Parish, attend first communion classes for our son, we are married thru church and have all the requirements needed to be God Parents. I believe this is not what God is about and it's unfair that she gets to deny us of a sacrament for our God Daughter. God doesn't judge, God is compasión and this lady showed us today how people like her make it hard for our families to feel welcome. While we were making a huge effort to attend and be the best catholics possible people like this make it very hard. This is such a huge deal because we will be baptizing in Texas and have all travel expenses paid and everything booked. The baptism is on the 17th of this month... It's just unbelievable that she gets to jeopardize our plans to such an import event for our God Daughter...

I'd walked into the office to get directions for family service( mind you im disabled)The lady behind the desk was rude so rude she began to yell and I just left and told her to have a blessed day. which was very surprising to me for a church . I saw another lady in the parking lot that works there. I said well the lady in the front was so rude to me. can you provide me with any assistance and she was just as rude. At that point I just drove off I would and will never worship here. I almost gave up on even continuing to pursue what I'd originally came for.I'd like to be fair bc when I'd finally arrived to the family services area they were so sweet and welcoming and loving the way I'd thought the church would have been. . Now I'd love to visit them again and help out in the future just a lovely group of individuals...

As well I feel bad to give this wonderful church a bad review but, this is towards the receptionist Lupe I called earlier because I needed help with a document I ask very nicely if they could and if not I definitely understood. She was so rude she was saying that if iam not register to receive an envelope to donate every week they couldn’t help. We go to church there and I don’t believe god judges if we don’t have to donate every week ... they really need to bring this up her attention how she treats everyone I don’t think I’ve ever been treated like that by someone in the church. And iam sure the father wouldn’t be happy to know that she is treating people like we’re worth nothing and judging because we can’t donate every week..after that interrogating me if yes what time is the...
