Staples — Attraction in Goshen

I prefer the clearance section of staples. I generally go to this section first and see if I can find anything of interest. It's got folders, phone accessories, bottles, sometimes even journals. And then I go elsewhere to complete my shopping. Between Michael's and staples, if I know I can get something at staples, I'd rather go there directly. Michaels makes it so confusing because they are always changing sections on sale and temporary aisle spaces that it's difficult to find something in a hurry.

It was funny today, because I got staples email for 3.99 planners and when I picked up, it charged 4.99. there is such a subtle difference between the two, plus the label said 3.99, I still ended up not looking closely. For $1, I didn't feel like troubling anyone, but the cashier was courteous and he understood the confusion and was able to help me quickly. Thank you for a wonderful service, and hopefully I can return soon to buy more....

I don't normally write bad reviews but The customer service was TERRIBLE! I waited for like 10 minutes on a Thursday morning (not because they were busy, there was like one other customer) then when I asked for help with printers just stunned silence, I asked if it would be compatible with my computer "I don't know" was the response... they obviously just wanted me to order online and not come to the store and bother them, then they didn't have the printer (which was in their Ad on sale!) in stock so I had to order online anyway. Waste of my time, I wanted some help and advice, I got more information from my 3 year old than...

First off I really like Staples but this one is a bad experience. Their print shop used to be super, now it's a pain. Just to get copies made it will be tomorrow before we can get to it. There seems to be an attitude of defensiveness instead of how can we fix this. Plus when I called later to speak with the manager I had to listen to a lengthy sales pitch before I could choose which dept. etc. I own a company and my time is worth something too; I am weary of being treated like a number.
