Bella Rosa Consignment Gallery — Attraction in Granbury

DO NOT bring your stuff for consignment to this place of business. The first time we were completely ripped off a few years ago by receiving a very small check for the sales of most of my higher end clothing items that were sold. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and choose to use them one last time with bringing more of my higher end clothes to sell for consignment sales. Well once again I was ripped off. I received a call that some of my items sold and that my check was a specific dollar amount for my proceeds. I told her that I would come up for my check and my items that did not sell. When I walked into the store for my check pickup the dollar amount was even lower than what I was told. I asked why my check was not the same amount I was quoted it was then explained that they charge $1 per item to pull YOUR own items to return back to you. She stated that it’s in your contract you signed. What?!!! Who does this type of business?!! Total rip off and scam artist with a poor way to run a business. Her business will thrive as she continues to rip innocent people off for her financial gain. Please adhere to all the poor reviews Yelp/Google prior to doing business with this woman and apparently I’m not the only one with several bad experiences!! Take your business elsewhere!!

UPDATE and response to your reply. I have absolutely no issue with identifying myself as NL which stands for Nicki Lane and my mother brought my items in for consignment under her name. Your subpar descent reviews that you claim are from your shoppers not your sellers who actually provide you with their items to profit from. Thank you for responding so quickly (within 20 minutes to be exact) from my poor review experience of your business. Maybe adhere to your poor reviews so quickly with openly listening to those individuals who have legitimate complaints. You should learn from your customers complaints and want to improve to make changes for improvement and better business practices. Final Review. Do not do business with this company, they are greedy and stole money from me. (If you do not believe this review, read others in Google as well as Yelp there are many complaints about the staff and owner of this company). I had a contract with them that was for 50% of whatever the items I had were sold for. The items sold well and both parties were happy. For the last check, I called them and gave them an alternate address which they chose not to send it to. The original check got lost because of their error and they refused to issue a new one without ME paying the Stop Check fee. When I finally receieved my check, it was by Certified Mail (which was their choice) for $47 less than it was supposed to, she took out the Stop Check Fees and the Certified Mail fees without my permission. Bella Rosa are run by thieves and liars, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. I seem to have made the mistake of doing business without proper research as I just found similar complaints on Yelp and other review sites. I am not the only one who has had this problem.

I have always liked going to this store. Until today that is. The woman that was working there pointed to a rack saying it was on sale, and that I might want to start there. I thought she was just being nice. However, when I went to check out, she asked me if I was aware that one of the dresses I was purchasing was $16, as though to imply that I could not afford it. After paying for my purchases and getting to my vehicle, I realized that I had mistakenly put back a dress I was wanting. I went back in to find it, but the woman was no help to me and was quite rude. As I was looking, the other customers started helping me look and agreed that her comments were very rude. Finally, another lady that worked there came and helped me to locate the dress and ring up my purchase. She was very nice.
