Grand Forks Smoke & Vape Shop — Local services in Grand Forks

Good price on smokes, but lousy staff and outrageous prices on vape gear. First: the staff, like the pj wearing, face peierced, long haired boy, all vape inside the building. Management also allows vaping inside. I advised them it's against city ordinance and they advised they didn't care. I have video of it on my phone from a couple visits.

Second: the majority of their staff, including previously mentioned pj boy, are horrifyingly ignorant regarding vape gear they are trying to sell.

Third: their prices on vape gear are criminal. Selling a $20 mod for three times retail is insane. Anyone who pays that, knowingly, then deserve to be ripped off. Their prices are as bad as Infinite Vapor. An example? How about the SMOK Big Baby Beast. You can purchase online for under $20. At this store though? $60+tax. The Wismec Predator which is a proven flawed device, sells elsewhere for under $35. Here? Almost $100.

Fourth: their "Points system" where you earn 1 point for every $10 you spend. When you attempt to use points you've earned, the staff (like pj boy) will tell you "Those points don't equate to like dollars or anything" and will not let you use points you've earned.

Fifth: when you call and ask for the manager to be able file complaint, like everything mentioned here... or the fat early 20 something boy that sells you the wrong cigarettes even after you tell him they're the wrong ones, the staff will tell you "Naw dude, they ain't here. Try calling back later". Ask when, they'll tell you, "Uh... Like next week or something".

Do not waste your time, energy, or money on this business. While they have a nice cigar room and reasonable priced smokes, every aspect of this place is negative from service, to staff, to prices.

With places like Valley Dairy having raised their prices steady since being bought out by Petro Serve, smokers are finding less options on fair prices. But this business should have stuck to smokes. The vape section is disgustingly overpriced, the staff are ignorant, lazy, apathetic millennials, and trying to get in and out of the lot is difficult without extra traffic from peak shopping...

I gave it 3 stars becsuse the selection of mods and suck is great. The prices are jacked WAY too high, I mean almost double or even more what other vendors are charging. But seems like prices are dropping on new inventory comming in. They do carry things nobody else in town has. And the only decent menthol liquid, menthol killer. Watch out it's strong! No cloud chuckin with that lol.. So yeah great store, but over priced.

Since I cant reply to the owner, I will edit my review, 35-40 bucks for the Aspire Breeze, the other shops in town are 20 bucks. You want 300 freaking dollars for the G class, which is a 200 ish dollar mod what is wrong with you? Everything is jacked up. I told the guy working, I wanted the G class but its priced almost 100 bucks higher than any brick and morter or web shop, he said nothing he can do, the owner sets the price... The old Jaybo RX300 is 40-50 bucks you want 120.. No they dont price match. Over priced on almost everything in the store. Do...

Be careful. I had purchased a few hundred dollars there every month for about 6 months without a problem. This month, though, they sent through 2 prior authorizations to my debit card & tied up double what I actually spent for almost a week.

I contacted them & they tried telling me it was because of my bank. I actually know the president of my bank because it's small. He deleted the 2nd prior authorization because they saw that it was a recurring purchase & that I'd never had a problem before. They sent through that 2nd authorization again 3 days later & left me stranded out of town as I only transfer what I want to spend, my credit card was sending me a new card so I didn't have that this time & it was after banking hours. I had to borrow money to get home.

Yea, I'll be going elsewhere. Who does that? If I didn't have other options at home, that could REALLY screw someone....
