Daily Discounts/Food Cupboard Discount Groceries — Attraction in Grand Island

The Food Cupboard has been a mainstay for finding fun and different foods at a really cheap price. I'd recommend making sure you understand what "best by" dates does and doesn't mean for different food groups. Always different, and its become like a little treasure hunt everytime I visit. Don't expect the place to look fancy, but the help is awesome. (I'd also say, remember that money is best spent on things that hold or increase in value, and food is not one of those, so why would you be so against place like the food cupboard that sells discount groceries? It really is a wise place to get some food.)...

Love going on to see if there are any pet food specials and eastern grocery gourmet items. The help is always great. This is a store that buys out closing stores and things that are still useable and edible. I've only had one problem buying a cake mix and there were bugs in the flour. That's not something they could control, but it might be a good idea to open the box and see if it's flour bug free. John and Dawn are great...
