Ken's Fruit Market — Attraction in Grand Rapids Charter Township

I love Ken’s, they have good produce and the best bratwursts in the area. But I wouldn’t go there during busy hours right now (during COVID-19) because they don’t believe in the precautions and are not enforcing mask protection safety for the public. I wanted to go and pick up some fresh produce and return something I didn’t mean to get, and there were groups of people congregating by the door all close together and none wearing masks. Same with the outdoor area selling flowers and plants. I called to let them know about the congregation and that some people won’t go inside with this clear violation and lack of enforcement of the mask protection laws, plus groups of people hovering by the doors hanging out. What is even going on? Does Ken’s really not care that much? The staff worker passed the phone onto the manager who then proceeded to hang up on me, which clearly shows his position on the topic, not to mention the rudeness of the manager who wasn’t even willing to speak to...

First visit despite living in GR for 30 years. Was so impressed with the quality & value of produce for sale. Local produce options, reasonably priced and more items then I anticipated. The quality of produce has declined alarmingly at every other grocery store, I typically wind up throwing out many items after 3 days because they've spoiled/rotted when purchasing from Meijer. With the cost of groceries I thought I had to buy all frozen at this point.
