Horrible experience and was assaulted by being choked. Have a police report and filing charges I live in Rockford so I usually go to the Pizza Hut on 10 mile which is wonderful but decided to go to this location to stop at a speedway I ordered the pizza on the way to the Pizza Hut made it in 12 minutes got a $10 box and cheese sticks when I made it home everything was hard and stale as if it had been sitting out all day when I called I spoke with someone named Michelle, who they said was the manager when I told her that I was upset because I picked up the pizza a couple minutes earlier than it was supposed to be ready which is said 15 minutes and that it was still cold and hard she asked me if I wanted her to make another order of cheese sticks, and as I tried to explain it was more was hung up on and when called repeatedly over 10 times was not answered when I got back to the Pizza Hut 12 minutes they sent a man up. I repeated my frustrations and let him know that I was more upset due to the poor customer service and may not be able to, explain the problem fully and then not answered over 10 times he said he would remake the food and I said OK as I waited over 15 minutes, I grew irritated as this was supposed to be made and received already, and if the manager would have stayed on the phone it could have already been in the process of getting remade as I made these comments to myself. He then gave me my pizza undone and told me due to my comments while waiting to never come back. I am in grand rapids seasonally for work and for the past four years I have been a glutton for punishment thinking each time my experience will be better. It never is. One of the first times I visited this location, it took them three tries to get my order correct. All I wanted was a pizza that had a crust, marinara sauce, cheese, and beef. I got two different incorrect pizzas before they finally gave me the correct one and they still charged me full price. Wait time is almost always incredibly long for no apparent reason. Last year, I stepped away from the table to use the restroom and returned to find my pizza and drink gone. The pizza had been placed in the warmer, apparently the employees were going to eat the remains of my meal because they explained to me that they believed I had left. Today the waitress kept disappearing. I was the only patron in the building and after seating me she took about 5 minutes to come back to ask my drink. When the drink was delivered, she said she would be right back to take my order. 10 minutes later she came back and asked if I needed more time. I ordered a Large Hand Tossed Pizza with Classic Marinara and beef as the topic. She asked if I wanted Cheese and sauce on it. It took 20 minutes to deliver my Mozzarella Sticks (The Marinara was cold) and an additional 15 to receive my Pizza. Each refill of my drink was a different beverage, and when asked for a togo box and drink was told that they would have to charge me for a togo drink because of needing to inventory the togo cups. I placed my order and always have the same delivery instructions, to leave at package bin by garage, because it's a split unit and the front door isn't mine. We'll, Ted decided to sit at the wrong door knocking for 5 minutes disturbing my neighbor and their dog instead of just walking up the driveway like he was instructed to do. Then I go out there to wave him down and he has the nerve to be rude to me saying I didn't leave any delivery instructions. I said, oh yeah, I did. I have it on my phone I can show you. He decides to open up his bag and start shoving food at me and wouldn't even let me show him I had the delivery notes in the confirmation email.
Only saving grace was the lady who was in charge for the night was very pleasant and helpful with my issue when I called and there was nothing wrong with the food. The woman who I spoke to was very understanding and not rude at all. I appreciated that.
But definitely don't expect too much from Ted if that's the delivery driver you get. He seemed really unhappy and just all around giving the vibe that he hates his job. Idk about others but I feel like if I tip you well, to drive a mile away to drop off my food, you should definitely follow simple instructions and do so with a smile on your face.
