I brought a Gladiator Refrigerator and Freezer from Decker and Son and res on or about June 24, 2021. I was and still am horrified about what happen after it was delivered. I get straight to the points. The refrigerator did not work. Lost all my food that weekend. Call Decker and Sons, they call service they came out later that week and found out that the temperature control panel was out. Also the refrigerator was registered in someone else name and before the service man could assist me I had to show him my receipt that I had brought it. 2.The part was ordered and when it came in another service call was made. At this time the foot level had gone out. He order that part and said they would call when it came in. Call Decker and Sons again the refrigerator is not keeping my food cold and more food had spoiled. I was told to get a thermometer and check the temperature. I brought one at Gordon Foods. The temperature was 60%F. after 12 hours. Call back and they said a service person was scheduled and to wait. I did. Next week my freezer went completely out ,blowing warm air. I lost all my food in the freezer. Everything was gone. I call Decker and Sons and told them this is not acceptable. They wanted me to wait for the repair person who was schedule for Saturday August 14, This is 12th what was I suppose to do with the food, let it set there until the repair man comes or what. I request a pick up, refund and compensation for the lost of my food. The delivery person came to pick up both appliances and said they where shocked and showed them the video of the food that was lost. They apologized (the delivery persons) for what I went through . My account was credited 2 days later but never received compensation for food lost in the refrigerator nor freezer. And the appliances were under warranty. I only had them less than 6 weeks. Read moreWell after seeing some of these reviews I am hoping I didn't make a mistake buying from D&S. I purchased a refridgerator from Scott. I purchased it on February 26, 2025. When I picked it out and was paying for it Scott told me it would be available and ready on April 3rd 2025. He also said it could be sooner than that, but April 3rd would be the day it would be there. I just happen to call Wednesday March 26th to see if by chance it would be ready any sooner than April 3rd. Thought I would give it a shot since my fridge is dying quickly. The women on the phone finally found my order then put me on hold. She came back to the phone and said that her boss told her it will be a few weeks before the refridgerator comes in. That stinks because it was due to be in on April 3rd. Now I have no idea when it will be in. Also, would anyone have notified me about the later date if I wouldn't have called to inquire about the fridge? I hope this ends up being a good experience because I have a matching stove picked out to purchase soon. We will see if I purchase from D&S? I gave 3 stars as of now. Read moreWe went an ordered appliances in Aug 2020. Due to the pandemic our items were not in stock. We were told they would be in a week or 2. I started calling once a month there after NO COMMUNICATION from Decker. Finally received 2 of my 3 appliances in December. They were delivered unboxed. The dishwasher had scratches. They ordered a new face for it. I called weekly to see if it was in. I was told 2 weeks or so. I called they said they had it. Someone would call to get it scheduled to install. NEVER called finally I called back. They lost the face! Stove didn't work (that was a manufacture issue). Finally got my fridge got delivered 2/21. The door does not open fully due to a wall. We asked about it when we ordered and we were assured it would still open there was room. WRONG! Still do not have the new face for my dishwasher! Very disappointed in the service...
