A unique park with lots of space. There is a rock wall small enough for kids to enjoy, but challenging enough that I see professional rock climbers come with talcum powder and practice. There are some minor trails to explore. There is a railroad along it and trains to traverse very infrequently (can be cool to watch if you are into that). It is right next to the Interstate which means it is a bit noisy, but not bad with the trees by the Interstate.

Pretty okay park. Got playground and splash pad. Big Field with football field. We went to disc golf and the course is okay. It's definitely not a beginner course. and it is quite the hike thru the woods up and down the hills but over all it is fun and challenging.

Highland Park is smack in the middle of downtown, like other city parks, it is a little Oasis off the Medical Mile. With trees & a creek, there are the most beautiful wild flowers, birds & walking paths. There is also a frisbee golf course there.

I typically only go to Highland when I want to practice disc golf and I know nobody else will be around. It's a fairly subpar course with a variety of shots that work great for practicing and multiple throws, but the baskets are pretty bad. The park itself is also subpar, alright for a daytime stroll, but I wouldn't find myself there early morning or after dark. There are a handful of homeless folks that live in or near Highland, and they are all very friendly and great to chat with for the most part. I've never had any issues with people harassing or heckling in my visits. Not my top choice, but it is a nice quiet city park with few visitors, which is...

Nice park for discing but, it needs allot of work in my opinion. A good amount of the holes run right into high areas set up for other game activities. Causing disruption for both company's enjoying there day. Theres no cement pads just dirt which is ok. Then some of the holes in the deep trees are not cleaned up properly to even know which direction the next hole is and where your even throwing. My example would be hole 9, trying to understand that hole is a nightmare. Overall it's a nice park with great landscape just needs some love and attention with a couple people familiar with the game. I...

Great place to play some disc golf. Also a nice place to play when you're little. My grandmother lived on top of the hill back in the '70s and we used to play there all the time. It is one of the best places in the area to recreate. Lots of available activities. Plenty of areas for picnicking. A nice area with a creek running through it accessible only there. Lots of wonderful trails to walk down up and down hills. All around a good time. Be careful with your dogs. Lots of hawks...
