When we first purchased our home, we noted that there were some drainage issues, particularly with water pooling towards the foundation, and water draining improperly through the backyard.

Sage Landscaping was recommended to us by another contractor, and I'm so glad we used their services! Sage regraded our front and back yards, so water now pitches away from the front of the house, and moves along a new drainage ditch created along our back fence line.

We're now 9 months post-regrade, and after every heavy rain event (which used to cause serious problems), we can happily report that water now perfectly moves away from our home's foundation and through our backyard. It's been satisfying to see that rainstorms that would have previously posed a problem are handily dealt with by the regrade.

Lastly, Sage Landscaping stands by their work and makes things right. About a week after our initial regrade, we had a downpour that washed out some of the regrade work, and washed away grass seed that had been planted after the regrade. We also discovered that water wasn't quite draining correctly along the drainage ditch. Sage promptly sent out a crew who repaired the wash-out, re-seeded our yard with grass, and fixed the problem spot in our regrade to prevent future problems. Additionally, during the course of the regrade, we had a cherry tree that had roots that had to be partly cut to install drainage. Unfortunately, that tree died after the regrade work, but Sage made things right by removing and replacing the tree.

From start to finish, I couldn't have been more pleased with the work and the end result. The whole team that worked on the project was impressive and demonstrated a strong work ethic, competence, and a desire to do things the right way. No supervision needed, which is rare.
