I am SOOOOO SAD about our experience today at Arcadia Manor. We have been coming to Lost Ark and the arcade for years and the staff is always friendly and helpful. We walked into Arcadia Manor to ask about pricing as we wanted to get a week pass so we could come back another day, considering they were closing within the hour. The guy at the front was trying to discourage us from getting a week pass and suggesting we only get a day pass. We had a conversation with him for a few minutes and then when it came time to get the week pass that’s when he mentioned we couldn’t bring our 3 year old daughter in, even if she wasn’t going to play anything. We looked on the website and realized that it did say kids under 12 weren’t allowed and we asked if that was a new rule which he states it’s always been like that (keep in mind we have brought our daughter into this arcade multiple times with no problem). Also we noticed an unattended girl playing on the arcade games who was clearly under the age of 12. The website states that kids under 12 can enter if you purchase a month pass, so we were willing to pay $360 for us 4 to play with our 3 year old daughter who wasn’t even going to be touching any of the games. We went to talk to the manager about it who was very polite and kind. He explained that they have changed the rules due to children in the past causing problems in the arcade. But he wouldn’t honor what was on the website and said he wanted to take down the part that said you could bring in a child under 12 if you purchase a monthly pass. Moral of the story, they won’t honor what’s on their website and I guess you can’t attend the arcade even if you have a very small child who won’t be playing. I have been boasting about this place to my mom friends all across the triad, so it’s frustrating to know that it’s not a family friendly environment unless your kids are above the age of 12. Always call in advance and don’t waste your time if you have...

Read moreVery cool arcade! Two stories of freeplay heaven. For rhythm gamers, their Chunithm is running Sun with a brand new 120hz display. Worth checking out for that alone, imo (far better Chunithm experience than that corporate chain down the road). A tad bit more expensive to enter than the original, but worth it for the expansive selection of games and the unique...
