not only is this place way overpriced compared to normal grocery stores (a trip that costs $20 at food lion or aldi costs $35-40 here) i have purchased expired meat and dairy products SEVERAL TIMES. either it wonât have a use by date on the package, itâll be past the date by several days and still stocked, or it will be within the date and still be rotten for whatever reason (improper refrigeration?) this place is not worth it even for the convenience factor, just go down the street to food lion. also i attached pics of the spoiled ground beef i bought that has 2 different dates, the bestway one is several days after the manufacturers recommended use by...
   Read moreThe meat they have is clearly not being stored properly. Looks and smells like its rotting. Burgers seem to have mold on them. I asked the cashier if they put them away at all and she asked what I meaned put away properly? Granted it's not her department, but the meat needs to be stored at a certain temperature and definitely not left out for days on end on top of that. This has happened both times, even after going in right after they opened. Absolutely disgusting. Most of their products are about to expire so be careful.    Read moreThis store has some issues that need to be addressed. But the most outstanding issue is that food cost 3 times as much as it does at off campus markets. Most students shop there with university flex dollars and as a result they have to pay higher prices to be able to use their flex dollars. Flex dollars are a wonderful way to budget their funds so that they are able to purchase food for the entire semester, HOWEVER itâs cheaper to get a Walmart card, add the food dollars on it and let the student shop where is reasonable.
