UPDATE I’m now 3 weeks away from moving and we cannot wait any longer. Every issue we’ve had has doubled in problematics. The biggest issue is that the people above us are allowed to blast music and shake our apartment at 7am with how loud and disruptive they are but we get in trouble for the noise complaints. We have even sent the office multiple videos of them doing so and they have done nothing about it, but we continue to get in trouble for noise complaints when we aren’t even home half the time. The worst experience you will ever have at an apartment. Even if the price was cut in half it is not worth the psychological damage. Please stay away. The good reviews are probably people who make the most noise and nobody cares to do anything about it so they like it here
Definitely the worst apartment I’ve lived in. And I’ve lived in studios that cost 400 a month, and this place cost more than double that. Terrible neighbors, maintenance can’t fix an ice maker, our AC unit leaks uncontrollably and that hasn’t been fixed either. Will eventually mold for sure. The apartment above me has been having work done on it for the past 2 months and they come in at 8am and bang and shake our apartment for 5-6 hours a morning. No warning from the office about it so I’m only getting 4 hours of sleep due to working night shift. The neighbors complain about us making noise at 3pm when we’re just living our lives and walking around our apartment with our 7 pound dog. But the maintenance is allowed to bang and shake our apartment at 8am for 5-6 hours a day. Seems right.
The pool is always closed I’ve seen many people leave and complain about that. Cars were broken into one night and we received no update on that. We also heard that somebodies roof fell in due to huge amounts of mold coming from the unit above them. I could write a book about all the things wrong but that’s a good gist of it. We have been nothing but nice and respectable but for some reason with each month that goes by things get worse and we receive no help or compensation whatsoever. Even the people under us have been offered to move but we got nothing when we had terrible neighbors above us or the maintenance shaking our apartment every morning. From other residents we hear way more bad than good about this...
Read moreMy time living at Huntsview Apartments was far from satisfactory. The property suffered from continuous breakdowns due to outdated infrastructure, and maintenance requests were rarely addressed in a timely manner. Additionally, the leasing office agents often exhibited unhelpful attitudes, making communication frustrating and inefficient.
The complex itself was plagued with numerous issues. Potholes were a common sight, trees frequently fell around the property, and garbage buildup was a persistent problem. These conditions not only affected the aesthetic appeal of the complex but also raised safety and hygiene concerns.
Another main issue was the paint in the shower continuously chipping off. This not only looked unsightly but also caused the shower to clog frequently. Despite bringing this problem to the attention of the management, it was never properly addressed. The poor quality of maintenance and lack of responsiveness from the leasing office agents only added to the frustration. I would not recommend Huntsview Apartments to anyone looking for a well-maintained and efficiently managed living space
Also, upon moving out after keeping a amazingly clean and tidy apartment (during apartment check maintenance would always complement my apartment) my security deposit of $250 was not returned, I was later charged $30.11 extra for alleged carpet damage and was told my apartment was left uncleaned. When I sought clarification, I received a rude email from management, which was both unprofessional and disappointing.I have added pictures of my apartment after moving out and also the rude email that I have received from management. There was no damage to the carpet upon me moving out no holes, tears, or stains just carpet pushed down from furniture sitting on top of it after two years of me staying there.
UPDATE: I reached out to the email below and they never reached back out to me (Huntsview tells people to contact them in order to look professional)
PS. The 5 star google reviews you see are from the apartment complex giving away gifts if a resident leaves a 5...
Read moreWe toured the model apartment, which we found to be exceptional, and subsequently decided to apply and were approved. Our planned move-in date was March 14th, as that was the soonest available two-bedroom unit, given that we are moving out of our current apartment on March 18th.
On March 14th, we began loading our trailer with our belongings and waited until 2 PM to proceed with the move-in, as that was the designated time. We arrived promptly at 2 PM to tour the unit we intended to sign for, as we wanted to ensure it met our expectations before finalizing the agreement. I inquired about the possibility of viewing it earlier in the week, but the front desk informed me that we could only see it after 2 PM on Friday
Upon entering the unit, we were immediately struck by an unpleasant odor. As we continued our tour, we discovered several concerning issues, including mouse traps located within the property, which raised significant concerns for us as we have a newborn and a toddler.
When we reached the kitchen, we were dismayed by its condition. There was food and dirt caked on the floor and floorboards, and the oven was heavily greased. Given the state of the kitchen, we felt it was prudent to withdraw our interest in the unit without further inspection, as we were apprehensive about potential pest issues behind the oven and refrigerator.
It was unfortunate that we had all our belongings on the trailer and had to wait until moving day to see the unit. I am uncertain who conducted the inspections prior to showing the unit to potential residents, but I would not feel comfortable allowing anyone to stay in such conditions.
We paid $41 for two application fees, which we understand should be refunded due to our status as first responders. Additionally, we paid an administrative fee, which I believe should also be refunded given the...
