Mythos Grill — Restaurant in Greensboro

I've always prided myself on leaving honest reviews, which makes this one difficult — because I truly love Mythos. I've been a loyal customer of the original location on Battleground for years, so I was genuinely excited when they opened a spot closer to home.

Unfortunately, my first experience at the new location was disappointing. I ordered for a group of four, and the consensus ranged from “just okay” to “something feels off.” Personally, my chicken was dry and overcooked, and the overall flavor of the dishes didn’t match what we’ve come to expect. It just didn’t taste right.

That said, the dining area was very nice, and the staff was friendly and welcoming — which I really appreciated. I'm chalking this up to the newness of the location and hoping it's just growing pains. I absolutely plan to give it another try because I know what they’re capable of, but I do hope to see some improvements.

I absolutely love Greek food....and this place is quite delicious! It's all fresh, the quality of food is on point, and you can taste the authenticity. The herbs and flavors are wonderful, and it's a good portion for the price! The staff keep it clean inside, they come around and give table service, and they constantly ask if you need anything, which is very nice. The tzaziki sauce is amazing, and the salads are full of variety! I'm glad they have a mix of gyro meat, chicken, pork, and other special varieties. The colors are so lovely and a clean setup inside. The white and blue is clean and a lovely color mix. The manager Chris is so cool. I met him and he just tended to my questions and got me the things I needed, and then some. I appreciate his passion for being there, and I feel like he was a new friend of mine. He works and also does what's needed to keep his store running smooth. Definitely hope to go back...

Mythos is always terrific! We dine here regularly and always have a wonderful experience. The owner, Eddie, and manager, Chris, and all staff members go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. We had a party of nine tonight as we celebrated a family birthday in a reserved section, and the food, service and special touches they provided like presenting our cake with TLC was very appreciated. The server was exceptional and took excellent care of us.
