Casa Vallarta Mexican and Seafood Grill — Restaurant in Greensboro

Edit-on a visit to Greensboro, stopped in with a family member. It was a slow Tuesday night, not busy. Got a booth quickly. A waiter took our drink and appetizer order. A waitress came by to take those orders and asked if we were ready to order. We ordered our entrees and received those. My chicken enchilada had extremely dried out chicken and all the food was just warmed up, and extremely lackluster. We still had not received our guacamole Ranchero (fresh chunky guac) So we inquired with the waiter, who seemed annoyed. He asked if we still wanted it, with no apologies. When it came out, the avocado was in very large chunks, really not what we have enjoyed here in the past. Finally, I ordered a takeout for my husband that was missing rice and beans, and there were bones in the chicken in his burrito.My bottom line-l will go to San Luis #1 on Gate City Blvd. Same business-miles apart in service and food quality.

We were seated right away, and immediately served chips and salsa, as always. We ordered the Guacamole Ranchero (chunky freshly made) and it was perfect. Our main dishes arrived quickly. My Arros con Pollo was excellent. The chicken is well-marinated, tender, and the peppers and onions were tender and they are plentiful. Ordered 2 combos. With a question about weather a tostado had refried beans on it. Waitress couldn't tell me what was on the tostado. I said make my order like you do no refried on it. there was suppose to be a burrito and taco and a chalupa. when I got home I had a soft taco of sorts, a tostado with lots of refried beans on it(which wasn't very good. And not a chalupa but another tostado with lots of beans and no meat and no cheese on the taco and tostado. Very messed up order. Combo platter was fine. The other platter was seperated in 3 dishes instead of one, So that made it hard to see what I had gotten. The taco wasn't taco tasty. Don't know if I will go back. So me and my husband visited this place 1st time ever starting out i liked it got sat down fast waiter started out friendly got drinks fast no problems. Husband ordered bean dip that is absolutely not bean dip it was cheesy bean dip but not disclosed on menu i got the ACP it was good he got a veggie burrito, drenched in cheese very little veggies except for broccoli. Then as we were eating and trying to finish every waiter kept coming to the table asking if we done every 2-3 mins at that point i felt rushed because we were black cause literally people there before us NOT eating was given chance to eat, relax, whatever basically so after awhile we asked for check paid and left will not return gave two stars cause it started out good, but ill keep going to blue agave across the street much...
