Brought my kids here yesterday. Overall they really enjoyed it. I feel like there are still some kinks to work out. They need more workers. There were several attractions down and some of the workers were trying to manage several atrractions by their self. Before I get into the rides I'd like to start by saying buy your tickets online. Its a mad house trying to get in through the register lines. Be prepared to buy their gripper socks. There are lockers but most people don't utilize them and there are shoes laying around everywhere. The lockers are very affordable and big enough for the entire familys shoes, purses, wallets, phones etc.. Food and drinks are insanely high. Food looks worse than gas station food. The bathrooms... were GROSS.
The line to ride the Sky Rider was SO SLOW. It took over an hour to get through and there was only 5 people in front of my children. Kids were getting stuck at the second part and were stopping bc they didn't know what to do. There should have been a worker there to guide them. With the flip zone... of course everyone wants the flip cars. My kids waited their turn and was first in line for the next set of people..when the worker opened the gates kids ran all over them to get in front of them. It was absolutely disgusting after they waited their turn. They did get to ride and they loved it there should just be more organization or maybe seperate lines for the flip zone cars. Now with the go karts... theres two lines but nothing to distinguish with which side is which. We got yelled at for being in the wrong line. If there is its not very noticeable. We ended up riding doubles even though we wanted to ride singles after waiting at least 45 mins to ride. That was disappointing but not even the worst of it! When I was trying to get into the cart someone slammed into the back of my cart which caused the cart to hit my foot and it hurt SO bad. My foot is black and blue. I'm just glad it was me and not my child. The go karts shouldn't even be able to move while people are still loading. I believe they can control that and this time there was negligence. After going around the track 1 time our cart stopped working and a worker had to come do something to it. By the time they got it started we had to pull back in to the pit bc the ride was over...That absolutely ruined the trip and we left. Overall most of the workers were really nice and I did like how they took their time with the children to make sure they were safely strapped in the for sky rider and the ropes course etc they just need more help. While it wasn't a perfect time I believe we will visit again...
Read moreThis is the 3rd urban air we visit we have been to Houston locations this is our first one in Greensboro. I must say it was full of lights color, the environment was calm unlike the other locations i’ve been to. The staff when you walk in are very sweet and polite. We redeemed my son’s free pass from his birthday party we booked in April.
The bumper cars were very inviting and full of fun, all the cool lights the kids flipping because they have two types one that flips you upside down or regular bumper car but with bright led lights. The only issue I had was the employee wasn’t paying much attention and it happens it’s okay . He seated my 6yr old far corner, did not check his seat belt turned on the machine. I had to ask him to stop and check his seatbelt because he didn’t put it on properly. He checks his seatbelt walks away, turns machine back on and the bumper car isn’t functioning properly because everyone is moving and my son is not. I get the employee’s attention, and let him know my son has not moved, he goes and makes him get off and he resets it i’m not sure what he did than he got back on put his seat belt on and it worked. Employee mentioned to me it wasn’t working because his seat belt was not on properly, mind you he did not check his seat belt to begin with. I’m glad he was on the regular bumper car. I felt uneasy about this situation but my son had fun so I left it at that. They do need to keep their eyes on the kids and make sure they are all buckled.
The employees and other young adults jumped on my son in the ball pit because they were running away from each other. Where the little kids are and don’t check on them to make sure they are okay. The employees were horse-playing and not paying attention to sections or areas. It’s fun but y’all need to pay attention to people and customers around you that’s all.
Overall the food was good, pizza is very cheesy 8/10 and wings 7/10 combos were about $27. The experience was great, very clean, not gonna lie this is my favorite location. Wish back home was this nice, too bad we are only visiting. Thanks again hope this review...
Read moreI recently took advantage of Urban Air’s Black Friday deal offering a $100 gift card for $50. However, my experience left me extremely disappointed. I purchased the gift card online and took my kids to Urban Air a few days later, only to find out at the location that the gift cards couldn’t be redeemed or picked up until December 9th. This crucial detail was not prominently displayed during the purchase process.
Upon closer inspection of the website, I discovered the date was mentioned in very small print under “more information.” On a mobile device, especially an iPhone, the text is much smaller than on a computer, making it easy to miss. Information as important as redemption restrictions should be clearly displayed in large, bold letters and shown prominently during the payment process—not buried in fine print while the "BUY" button is large and inviting.
I ended up having to pay out of pocket for my kids to play that day, spending additional money I hadn’t budgeted for since I thought I could use the gift card. The front desk staff member was kind but unable to assist, offering me a phone number for Urban Air’s home office. Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service was frustrating. I was rudely informed that the redemption date was displayed (despite my explanation of how difficult it was to see on the site) and told that gift cards are non-refundable. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or for a corporate contact, I was told they do not have a corporate office.
This entire experience has left me dissatisfied with Urban Air. I asked for either a refund of the $50 I paid for the gift card or compensation for the money I had to spend during my visit due to the poor display of the redemption date. This situation has cost me more than anticipated, and the lack of accountability from customer service only adds to the frustration.
I hope Urban Air takes steps to improve their online purchasing experience and customer service, so other families don’t have to go...
