Mexico Restaurant — Restaurant in Greensboro

This is terrible. Because I can't give it no stars at all! My husband ordered two orders of chimichangas to go and an order of extra guacamole with my order. When he got home not only did I not have the rice that goes with the meal. But his portion of guacamole was the same as mine. I was really ticked off but hungry so I completely forgot about the salad and just ate the chimichangas and the beans. As I was about finished with my meal my husband asked me where was my salad. And I wanted to the kitchen and the guacamole had turned from bright green to yucky brown. And the tomatoes had a film on it when Tomatoes start to go bad or on the verge of. And there was lettuce that when I measured how much guacamole I was there it was only a TEASPOON! And that's with lettuce in it because when it's spread all over the lettuce you can exactly measure it precisely. So it was probably less than a teaspoon! And this was at about an hour until closing time time and I'm pretty sure they use they use everything that was that was left all day. And I tipped container and it was not mixed like a salad should be, however, there was so much liquid in there that it was ridiculous. And you would usually get some liquid if you mix everything together because if you put salt on lettuce it will obviously give off water. However this was not the case. It already had the nasty brown liquid. Well exactly 24 hours later, I was sick as a dog. I was nauseated throwing up and you can imagine the rest. I called my friend who's a PA, physician's assistant at the local hospital. I gave her and she asked and she asked me if you and it was and it was almost to the hour just the chimichangas. My husband next in line about 20 minutes later!!!! And we were up all night long could not even hold water or any or any electrolytes. I felt disgusted miserable and the taste would not leave would not leave...

Last night (Friday 9-12-25) me and my friend came in around closing which we did not realize and were told we could only order to go which was completely fine the issue comes in that when we got home (which we should’ve looked at our food before leaving but we were being rushed to leave ) looked like garbage I was beyond disappointed it didn even look like nothing like we ordered I wish I would have took a pic before getting upset and throwing it away but the steak we both order it to be medium it was very hard to chew and for the sides we both got over cooked beans with cheese on top and some rice that’s for both plates even tho we ordered different steak meals I was so embarrassed my friend wasn’t from the U.S so we both were excited for him to try something new I don’t even think it was what we even ordered and we ended up at the Waffle super hungry which we should have probably went in the first place this is the 2nd time I’ve had a bad experience with this place and I definitely will not be going back I see why people now go to the other Mexican restaurant beside the abc store I rather take my business there going forward ! The service and food has gone down super bad back in June got margaritas and we had no buzz what so ever we are sure they sold us the margarita mix with no alcohol I told my self I would never go back because they have shady business and I forgot all about that until last night I see now why no one hardly goes there if your ready this do your self a favor go to another Mexican place or the one a few seconds down the street this place doesn’t deserve our business especially...

FOOD POISONING ...It wasn't busy at all but they must have been understaffed due to the long wait times to get a table and also to take our order. They seemed to be focused on the take out orders mainly. The reason I am writing this review is because I do not want anyone else to GET SICK. I've been here a few times and it's always been fine but seems as if the quality has gone down hill but as an establishment that provides food to the public, this is not acceptable. I GOT FOOD POISONING FROM THIS LOCATION ON W. MARKET ST. I became very sick after eating here and it's the only food I ate so I know it was their food. I was extremely sick, violently vomiting for hours and the other gross stuff that comes along with food poisoning, had such bad stomach pain and vomiting that I had to go to the EMERGENCY ROOM and my stomach was sore for several days after. I hope this feedback is read by the owners of this restaurant so you can make the proper changes to provide healthy uncontaminated foods and a clean environment as well as all employees handling food has clean habits(washing hands etc), considering I paid for a meal that made me very sick which gave me medical expenses to pay for due to your food. Like I stated, I've never had an issue here prior to this one but sometimes all it takes is one time, and I will honestly say I do not want go to this restaurant again and I just wanted others to BE AWARE!
