This is a fun place to go in the evenings before dusk. There are multiple ball fields, two pavilions, and a small basketball court. There is also a large pool area in the summer months. The best part of the park is that there is a walking track that goes around the entire park, including a path that goes to the five star trail. The 5 star trail goes past WCCC, and into the Armburst area. It is a great bike riding trail to try in the area. There is also a climbing playground for elementary aged children. If you have time, you can get a great view of downtown Greensburg by walking the five star trail to the bridge over East Pittsburgh Street. When you finish your evening here, you can always walk across Rt. 119 to the Dairy Queen.

Cute field to walk, ride a bike, learn to ride a bike, or huge fields to run and play any sport on. It does swamp in the fields after rain due to poor drainage in the field in many spots, but prices for sports for kids to join are reasonable and parking is free. There is a trail u can take in multiple directions from here. And maybe one day the public pool will have construction complete and safely updated for swimming on hot summer days. Ice skating rink is an extra perk.

This park is a great place to bring your kids. There are open fields here for playing football or you can throw a frisbee. They do have soccer nets available for playing soccer or practicing if you enjoy soccer. There is a basketball hoop here but not a court from what I seen. There is also a trail that is very peaceful to walk along. There is an old helicopter here as well. Overall the park is very clean and a great place to bring your family.

I arrived at Veterans Memorial Pool 45 minutes before closing time. I realized it was late in the day but I had two objectives. I needed to immerse myself in some cold water. Also, I had been waiting weeks to finally see my sweet friend Ashley along with her 3 precious kiddos. I was greeted properly with hugs, kisses, and questions. I've found sometimes that cooperation isn't such a horrible word. However, it doesn't fall into the passive category either; I secretly was wondering how that would play out. Truthfully, I don't know who started the water fight but it's not about blame, right? My memories of the rest of my fun time spent at the pool is hazy at best. Lots of dunking, water up the nose, and legs running underwater but getting no where (like those creepy dreams when you're frozen). I did hear my name echo through the tablespoon of water in my ear. Sadly, it was time to go. So, I invited all of them over for dinner and chaos. And yes, of course they...

Large park, with an indoor ice arena in the winter that is reasonable priced. In the summer time you can have an enjoyable time at the large outdoor poor that has a water slide that the children can enjoy...If you are an exercise type of person they also have an large outdoor track that is used for running, skating, biking, walking, you will even find people pushing stroller's with young children in them as they walk the track... If you are there in the evening you could be lucky enough to catch one of the baseball teams that play ball there on one of the two ball fields that are use often during the youth baseball season.

handicapped parking is available *No pets in the park aloud *Open till dusk *No outside food permitted inside...
