First off, GameStop officially does not carry retro gaming gear which includes anything from 3rd generation and below. GameStop does still have a handful of PS3, Xbox360, and Wii/WiiU, DS/3DS games. For the guy that said they don’t carry GameCube controllers: buddy you went right after Christmas and the day you posted your comment was literally at the beginning of January. Kids and adults alike come into GameStop during Black Friday til about the end of January whether to get an awesome deal, Christmas presents, and to use their gift cards. Yeah, GameStop didn’t have the GameCube controller then, but I can assure you they do now! Also, before complaining about not having a game or limited supply of games and accessories; That is so not true whatsoever. If you have a game that you want then just go up to one of the employees and ask them to look it up; it’s that easy. Also, for my friend that wanted to downplay the Woodruff store all because of a GameCube controller (That works for the Nintendo Switch) there is an object called a phone where you can call people or in your case, a store, and politely ask them if they have a certain product in store. If they do not have what you are looking for them they will check if another store in the area has whatever item you may be looking for. They can even order a product for you if the product itself is nowhere to be found at any GameStop in the area (Only if the product is available at the GameStop Warehouse). GameStop off Woodruff road is the most incredible store, because the few employees that work their are absolutely positively 100% professional and really care to give their customers the best deal that they can. They don’t make commission, the pay is less than working at a fast food organization, but people that work their love to help other people and enjoy what they do. I love GameStop and if you get the chance to meet Damien, Clayton, or Jarrett then you will get the highest customer service that a company can provide. That is a guaranteed...
Read moreMy loving wife bought me a PSVR for my birthday to my delight. She was so proud of this surprise for me( first present given since we got married this year) and couldn’t wait to get me to the game stop this week to get some more games for it. So she brings me in this past Thursday to get some games. Well the sales associate proceeds to tell us at checkout that VR is a garbage gimmick, that any of us that are fooled by companies into believing it’s fun are being robbed and are fools, and anything that you have to get off the couch for is useless. So thanks for the fun weekend GameStop. My wife is devestated thinking she got fooled and thanks to your sales associate for taking a dump over what was supposed on o be a fun experience. Go here if you want to be talked down to like a child for buying things you want by a big bearded guy that most likely lives in his moms basement. You should all be ashamed of yourselves if this is...
Read moreSo I bought 3 used games at the beginning of ther year. One game wouldn't upload. Another game was not put in the box and I had to drive back to to pick it up. The game that would not upload just got shipped to my house for the wrong console. I called the store and asked who am I speaking to because I am frustrated I spent almost $100 for 3 games. 2 of which I have had continued issues with. The associate refused to give me their name and yeah I'm pissed. He said I need to change my attitude. I get that. I have tried calling the location multiple times with no answer. This is ridiculous. I work hard for my money and am being treated like trash. When I have I spent my hard earned money for entertainment. For a company that has no customer service.
I wish I never went to this gamestop location. I will be going...
