My kids ask me all the time to stop here as we hurry by to school or our next stop. We finally had a free day to stop in for an hour and we are so glad we did. Little to our knowledge our family has a huge part in the museum. We got to show our kids items that their great grandfather donated to the museum and see a picture of their other great grandfather. It was very touching to us and full of stories. We will definitely go back to see what else we can discover there. Thank you to the dedicated men and ladies who run the museum to keep this part of history alive here in Greenville. If you are like me who live here and drive by day after day, take an hour...

The Greenville railroad museum is some thing that I will never forget when I get older I am so happy of what they’re doing by preserving the past and this beautiful steam locomotive that probably should’ve been scrapped years ago but has been saying things to these wonderful people thank you very much for saving the caboose and trains in for anyone who wants more trains to be there I feel like they have enough train cars there because there’s no room to put any more anyways if anyone from the staff room is reading this this is Ashton and I hope you continue doing this...

When you look over and pass by you don't realize how fascinating it all is up close. Please check it out! My granddaughter is 7 and surprised me with her great curiosity. She had never been interested in anything to do with trains prior to visiting. She got to go inside and ring the trains bell, sit in a seat and searched every inch of the place for more to look at. I found myself completely intrigued by the inside and outside of all the cars. I never knew I could be interested in trains. So happy this history was so lovingly and carefully...

Wonderful small museum which showcases all the B&LE has to offer. Many amazing photos, maps, and artifacts. The museum features a library with countless shelves of material and a nice sized O Gauge operating layout. Outside on display are three cabooses and the worlds largest steam switcher all nicely painted up. Do yourself a favor and visit this hidden gem! Also please DONATE - amazingly this treasure is free of charge to the public so please help keep it going.

Your opportunity to experience the size and engineering complexity of an American made steam locomotive is available at the park. The museum has a staggering array of historical artifacts demonstrating Greenville's rich railroad history. Please see Park's website for open times when guides are there to help you get the most from your visit. Admission and parking are FREE.
