Our Youngest Daughter wanted to go to "THIEL COLLEGE" Years ago, but she NEVER did. Her GRADES were Very Good, but the COURSE she wanted to take was NOT available. However, My Wife & I, Along w/ our Daughter, Went up for a TOUR of the "THIEL COLLEGE" Campus. We were INVITED to come up for a Recruitment Weekend & we were invited to a Huge Tailgate Hot Dog Roast. We also watched an Exciting College Football Game between THIEL & ALLEGHENY College. THIEL wasn't the Winning Team that day, but they GAVE IT THEIR ALL. The CAMPUS is absolutely GORGEOUS & the Class Rooms are a decent size for the students. The Dorm Rooms are a little small, but COMFORTABLE. The Cafeteria was almost BRAND NEW & had a DELICIOUS MENU for it's STUDENT BODY & it's CAMPUS STAFF. Their Student Union Building & it's Library were 1st RATE. Overall, My Family & I were VERY IMPRESSED w/ "THIEL COLLEGE" & the ENTIRE CAMPUS. We had the chance to go back up for another Visit, This time w/ our Son & he wanted to PLAY LACROSSE, But a problem arose which prevented him from playing. I came up w/ a friend also for an "AMBASSADORS WEEKEND" for my Church & I had an AMAZING TIME as I had a chance to see a lot more of the CAMPUS & I WAS VERY IMPRESSED w/ what I saw. BTW, "THIEL COLLEGE" WON it's FOOTBALL GAME against WESTMINSTER College on our Son's Visit. "THIEL COLLEGE" may be a Smaller Campus to some people, but it has MANY ATTRIBUTES that BIGGER COLLEGES...
Read moreThiel College has provided me with opportunities, internships, experiences, and knowledge that I know I would never have received anywhere else. The Thiel professors and staff go above and beyond to encourage individual student success; they get to know their students and care for them as people. When I was trying to decide what college to attend during my senior year of high school, Thiel was the one that made me feel the most supported. I started my first semester as a freshman with an undecided major, but thanks to the work of my professors who took an interest in me and in my personal situation, I was able to choose a major in a field that best suits my talents, abilities, and interests. For anyone looking for a smaller school where you can truly be part of a community, invest in your future, and be surrounded by people who care about your success, I highly recommend you consider...
Read moreThiel College is such a wonderful D3 school for athletics and it's a great college because it's small and you get to know everyone on campus, especially the professors, coaches, and staff which is most important. It is just a short distance to the surrounding buildings on campus. It's a beautiful get-away to the country side. Thiel College just added a PA program and an MBA program, which are both great routes to go through, just in a couple of years. Division three sports are fun to get involved in because there's not too much pressure on you as an athlete while staying caught up with academics. Everyone at Thiel are all nice and supportive of one another, 10/10...
