Went there for Heritage Days. Pretty mellow, rides were all for young kids. Not much for teens or adults, some carnival games would have been great. A few food trucks with tasty but very overpriced food. Several vendors selling little trinkets and homemade soaps for good prices and some church crafts for sale. A free movie late at night but was for little kids. Not sure if they had music this year, didn't hear anything.

Would have been nice if they had cleaned up since many people were trying to stay out of the sun or sitting in the grass and you couldn't find many places without goose poo. Very glad I had a picnic blanket in my car. The bathroom needs to be serviced so we don't have to use porta potties that have been baking in the sun...

Right now it was flooded Disappointed Heritage Days for Sunday was not advertised properly with the hours of operation and that the event was relocated due to the flooded park. When you go to the website, the photos and events are nice but what is important are the hours of operation of all events. The 5k time and date not.listed, car show times not listed but luckily Bill Sumners gave me a flyer for his event, but fir Sunday, nothing!! Very disappointed!! I wasted my morning waiting for the event to start and finally a vendor was nice enough to tell me the start time but now I have other obligations!! Hiw would you like to wait around for 3 hours only to find out the event begins when you must leave!! Not...

Very nice big park, has hiking trails along the river , playground for the kids , pavilions for rent, the amphitheater is really nice they hold a summer concert series every Monday someone different plays. Carries away outfitters offers kayaking and canoeing options . This is a nice big park with plenty of space to walk, hike, fish, they even have frisbee golf. Nice place overall, would get a 5 but the road needs paved and is pretty rough in spots, they used to have a nice rec center and a pool years ago but I'm sure funding was an issue and so the pool was...

Nice big park. Big playground, Frisbee golf, lots of room to walk the dog. Hiking trail was really nice, it winds along the creek/river. There was also a nice sized pond to fish. Not sure what's in it because we didn't fish but there were a few people fishing. Not handicap accessible. You have to cross a bridge and walk back the hiking trail a few hundred yards. Very nice amphitheater and pavilion. Everything was closed because of Covid so we didn't get to see the museum which I'd really have liked to see. Good place to get some fresh air.

So many beautification projects happening at the amphitheater. The park is a great place to take dogs for a walk, take kids to play, or simply enjoy sitting by the river. Carried away outfitters is located in the park and an excellent way to spend your day.
