Majestic Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Greenville

Well all around the place looks nice it's a good looking restaurant. When you first walk in you wouldn't know it was anything butter restaurant because they stuck the kitchen in the front and the bar in the back which does not seem like a wise move to me but to each their own. It seems like they set up the kitchen so people can watch them make hot dogs which doesn't seem like a very exciting experience at all. The storefront with the windows is where people look in and see what's exciting about this place and as nice as the decorative touches are it looks like a place most people would just keep walking by. If they had put the kitchen in the back of the restaurant and kept their little window design it would have been great. But with the bar hidden it looks like Grandma and Grandpa's hot dog shop not a bar that anybody would want to go sit at because you can't see the bar. Also I tried their kraut dog their sloppy Joe dog their coleslaw dog and their majestic dog yesterday. I'm sorry to say that all of it was gross besides the sloppy Joe dog and how does anybody possibly mess up sloppy joe. The chili was too sweet, they're coleslaw dog had no moisture really in the coleslaw they're sauerkraut had no tangyness what so ever. This was on their grand opening or rather under new ownership but overall experience was highly disappointing. Would recommend just boiling your own hot...

A Monday afternoon taking a short road trip to Greenville. Decided to grab a quick lunch in town. Saw a neon "hot dog" sign and stopped in. Although the sign says " Majestic Hot Dog", the real name is Majestic Bar and Grill.they have a small menu that features various forms of hot dogs. Most with their "special sauce", a toned down chili. The sauce proved to be a let down but the vinegar-dressed Cole slaw was great. Non-alcoholic drinks are served in cans. Other drinks from a bar. The decor is kind of vintage, kind of western, kind of eclectic. The entire place was very shiny clean. And the proprietor took extra time walking thru the place. Nothing the sauce tastes like cloves. I don't like there soggy hotdogs they cook them on a grill but they don't taste like they do and as for the wait staff there isn't any you get talked down to by the lady behind the counter especially if you never been in there before they act like you are supposed to have total knowledge of how the place works and when you ask the counter lady talks to you like you are a complete idiot.
