I happened to stroll into Llyn Strong's fine jewelry shop when I was traveling for business. I made a mental note to research her website as what I saw in her shop was very memorable. The gems I saw were unique, the cuts and designs were ones I had not seen before or one-of-a-kind, and I felt that I was looking at fine art and not the standard pieces you find in most jewelry shops. I had purchased while in China some South Sea Pearls (and hematite from Italy) that I hadn't worn for years. The pearls were not strung, designed, sized or matching with any other pieces. Yet, I had invested thousands of dollars in the pearls. I reached out to Llyn Strong and through the consulting process, she and her talented team proposed additional pieces and settings for the Pearls and hematite that would provide me with no fewer than a dozen combinations I could put together. The designs on paper, the videos of the loose gemstones, and the phone conversations helped to refine the ideas. I anticipated that these pieces would be beautiful. But, when I received them, thoughtfully labelled, boxed, and functionally described in a video, I was thoroughly impressed by the beauty, craftsmanship, quality, and uniqueness of each pieces. I was thrilled with every jewelry item and know that these interchangeable pieces will be enjoyable to wear. Designed a custom engagement ring with the Llyn Strong group and could not be happier with the results. Sydney walked me through the process and was very patient as we met several times to view stones she had sourced as potential center stones. During this process she was resourceful, professional, and extremely helpful. After the stone was selected the team was able to quickly translate my thoughts into a workable conceptual sketch to be rendered in CAD and moved to a resin mold. The group had fantastic communication about status and always beat the milestones communicated. Very happy with the results and process.

I also had them make a set of earrings from a pair of stones from their gemstone round table. I didn’t need to see any CAD renderings from these in advance, just a quick conversation about what I had in mind then they took it from there. I must say they knocked those out of the park as well and on a fantastic timeline.
