Be advised. First time going here and I signed my family up for the quick zip which listed online 3 courses that lasted 30-40 min. We got there in the time needed to gear up with the rest of a huge group but did not get direction on where to go. Every color wrist band got called except ours. There was a yellow band and then ours was neon yellow. Confusing. We had zip lined before at another company and did not find it difficult. Finally a team member directed us away from the rest of the group and showed us the one single course we could do. We were shocked and they eagerly suggested we upgrade to get to do more courses. I explained online it said 3 courses and they said āoh no you just get to do the one and only three timesā it was extremely deceptive. Being it was our sonās 12th birthday we decided to go with it and try it out. My son got to the platform but I was not allowed out (even though the instructor said two people to a platform) until he completed the zip line back to the landing platform. I would never have let him go first had I known that. He was scared and embarrassed. After that we decided not to upgrade and do more courses but the teenage girl instructor said they already charged us and we could get a gift card. I wasnāt having that. My inner Karen came out and I explained they would give us a refund after this fiasco of a day (just for the upgrade). She argued with me and I told her no I wasnāt paying for an upgrade so figure out how to refund my money without a gifts card. In the end the team members complied and did refund our money. I felt bad I had to put my foot down over their gift card bogus but it is what it is. I wonāt be back. Their safety precautions are commendable on having only one person on the course at a time BUT it is a colossal waste of time to have them have to clear the platform with their walkie talkies before anyone else can...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI found about this place about a week before our trip to Greenville. My kids have never done a rope course, but I wanted them to do something new and fun. Iām very glad I decided to take them to Flying Rabbit Adventures!
I didnāt participate in the course, but I wanted to be there to make sure my kids were safe. I donāt remember our guides name, but it was a dude with long hair. He was very laid back, but very thorough when it came to talking about safety. I was 100% pleased with the way he went over the instructions.
I went up to the first level and watched my kids for about an hour until another guide questioned me about signing a waiver when she realized I wasnāt wearing a wristband. I told her that I had signed them for my kids and she told me I also had to sign one in order to be up there. Was I upset with her for being like that? Absolutely not cause she was doing her job. Was I upset with my guide for not noticing? Definitely not. He did his job by making my kids feel safe and I knew well enough to stand back, not reach over or go beyond the closed off areas at any point. He was apologetic and I told him not to worry about it at all.
The owner was present while I was signing my waiver and he wanted to make sure everything was good before tending to another customer. I told him my kids were having a blast and he said heās happy whenever he hears his customers are having a good time.
We had a great experience at Flying Rabbit from the course to the staff and we will definitely be back whenever weāre in Greenville again!
TIP: Itās the summer in the South, so that means itās going to be HOT. If you or your child is sensitive to heat, then make sure to book at an earlier time to avoid the hotter parts of the day and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe visited today for a birthday party! My daughter who is autistic was very cautious and reluctant about the kids course. She said āI am so scaredā. The man (Kai) working the kids course was amazing! Kai, was more patient than I have seen anyone on the first time meeting my daughter! He spent over an hour encouraging her and staying with her the whole time to help her build up the courage to go on the course. He was with her EVERY step of the way. I was blown away at his interactions, patience and dedication to make sure she accomplished the course. He was in no rush and let her take it at her own pace. She would take a few steps then decide it was too scary and he was so patient as she re-started several times taking more and more steps. I could hear the radio calling him to go to another station but he formed a relationship with my daughter and was not going to let her down by passing her over to another employee. Every portion of the course she completed he cheered her on. She finally made it through the entire course after an hour simply because of Kaiās guidance! I canāt thank him enough for what he did for my daughter! I hope he sees this and his manager or the owner sees this as this type of employee rarely exists anymore. Thank you Kai for treating my daughter with respect and your kindness and patience with her. Thank you for helping her overcome her fears! You will forever be part of our Flying Rabbit...
