Coastal Farm & Ranch — Attraction in Gresham

Im not a regular customer of Coastal Farm & Ranch anymore since I sold my farm property in Washington state, but this is a good place to find just about anything you need for farming or ranching. From chain saws, 25 ton portable log splitters, and brush hogs to clear you property, to water troughs, chicken wire and farm implements; straw, grain, and other feed, to durable clothing, hip high rubbers and even a rooster weather vane for your barn. All at very competitive low pricing, excellent availability and special order services for hard to find items that you need quickly. A one stop shop for country folk or suburban farmers and outdoorsmen. But this particular store also has awesome customer service and friendly staff. I was filming a first responder fire incident just across down the road from this store with a drone and the high speed wind took the drone with a quickness, and I couldn't regain control of the navigation. Long story short it disappeared but was broadcasting its GPS coordinates at the time it went down. Turns out it went down on the property of this Coastal Farm and Ranch store. We couldn't find it anywhere from the GPS coordinates and gave up our church for it but determined to go into the store and ask the next day. When I got to the store and inquired about my missing drown they had taken the battery out of it and set it aside and customer service desk; one of the employees had found it, and set it aside. It was an expensive filming drone so I was ecstatic when it was returned to me the following day by one of their cheerful and friendly staff so I felt compelled to write a review of the store and give some props not only because it's an excellent store, but the people working at this store are also honest, helpful and cheerful and I wanted to say "Thank you" again to Coastal Farm and Ranch in...

Visited for only a single item so cannot comment on the store overall, but had the impression they "had everything". I wanted to see and get info on woodstove. First visit for me so I was not aware they not only had them on display but some were installed and working. Was met quickly by Kordell who both answered all questions and added several thoughts and considerations I had not thought of. No discussion of costs or discounts until I asked about them, and no buy today pressure. His questions to me were nearly all about probable use, installation, wood source and so on. For a guy who thought he already knew more than any sales clerk could, I left a little smarter, better informed and educated. I will clearly return here when purchase time comes, as this is exactly the reason we still need and want brick and mortar stores and not just buying whatever Amazon says is most popular.
