Burger King — Restaurant in Troutdale

Weirdest experience,,,ordered and paid for two milkshakes through drive through. Multiple cars ahead and behind me. We all waited for over 15 minutes. One by one cars started leaving without food. No communication from staff,,,I waited at the last window (I was told to pull up to last window) waited another 10 minutes Notning. (Could hear staff talking and music playing but none even came close enough to the window where you could ask them a question or anything) By now it’s been half an hour I leave the line and pull back around to the speaker and explain what happened and could I just get a refund? He just said “ok”. Staff certainly wasn’t rude but just zero communication and I was stuck in the drive through for so long waiting for food then waiting for refund. FINALLY get to pay window and he gives me a refund, doesn’t say or explain what’s happening, I have to ask. Guy was nice not his fault he was by himself or something. This was from 11:30-12:00 (at night). 12/8/24 If shits hitting the fan in there, I understand maybe someone rage quit or something and they don’t have staff, life happens, but the bare minimum is to tell people “hey we need to close early sorry” or something. Instead making all of us customers in line wait and wait after we had already paid with our cars idling. Late at night people have to get home to their kids and stuff. 40 minutes car idling waiting, no communication, never got food or an explanation. I would have just left but...

Let me start out by saying the employees were very friendly but that’s about where it stopped for the positive experience. First, I ordered a whopper meal and the whopper was pretty good but the french fries were really soggy. When first filling up my cup for soda the drain was clogged and was spurting syrup mixed with water from the catch tray due to bubbling or something. I informed an employee who said the parts were on order but every customer seemed to approach employees letting them be aware of the problem. Really the solution would be to shutdown the machine and serve from the kitchen/drive-thru machine. The floor and carpet was pooling with soda from the drain bubbling out and along the side of the machine to the floor on both sides with a constant flow. Sitting down to eat I noticed the broken trash can door and how dirty the tables were in the dining area. They weren’t overly busy so it kind of shocked me that no one seemed to care. I then used the restroom which had pools of water under the wall urinal and adjacent sink. The store is in need of some maintenance on fixture items and sadly it makes me wonder how the...

I usually like this bk. Its the only 1 we go to. But after tonight, im not sure I want to come back. I ordered a 2 for 10, chicken sandwich and whopper. Was able to go over how I wanted my burger, then got to the window to sit there for 7 mins before they could be bothered to tell me they couldnt make my whopper because they were out of patties/broiler was down? She said both so I dont know. They didnt acknowledge me at all until she told me there was an issue. Then she acted like it was no big deal and tried to get me to switch my whopper to a chicken sandwich. I dont like most of your food so its next to impossible to figure something else out, especially off the top of your head. Your a burger joint that cant make burgers? Then why not close for the night instead? I wasted my time tonight and all I wanted to do after a long shift, was just go home, eat and go to bed. Someone should have said something when I ordered.
