I'd give this place 5 stars, but the tofu salad rolls are made with fried brown tough dry tofu. Not soft white tofu like other Thai places. Also half the size of any Thai Restraunt I've eaten at. Felt like I was chewing bubble gum n spitting it out. Fried dry tofu = yuck! The peanut sauce is good. I ordered the large peanut sauce. Owner talked me out of it, stating it's enough that comes with it n " most people have leftover sauce". Nope. I had to order more for my rice, which cost me another $3 and was very small. The Tom Ka Ga soup with tofu( soft n white) was delicious! Less than a half filled bowl though. Not enough liquid. I asked for Mild spice. I got medium. My nose was running from the spicy heat. Server asked, I told him. But no offer to correct it! After 5 mins , you get used to it. Lol The Jasmine rice, was an additional $6. I like it in my soup. A small would have done nicely. The box of dried out rice leftovers is getting tossed out today. Small is enough for 1 person. I ordered the mango sticky rice desert to go. What a nice surprise. Lots of juicy sweet ripe sliced mango on rice, ( smaller sized than other Thai restaurants). A sweet watery sauce was over it. Not the usual thick white condensed coconut sauce served at other Thai food places. I suggested to owner/server to switch it up n to use soft white tofu in salad rolls. Also the Jasmine tea tasted fake. Poor flavor. Save $3. They do Not have hot red Thai tea. Owner/server is very friendly. Total cost: $42. Plus tip. Expensive for 1 appetizer, soup, n a side rice, Xtra peanut sauce( very small) and 1 desert. $45! It looks like a nice place for a big party. Lots of...
Read moreThis place was awesome. I think only 3 tables were taken as I placed a ‘to go’ order. One couldn’t asked for nicer service. The young guy suggested the pineapple curry which is a favorite of mine. I think I’ll go with heat level 5 next time because 4 wasn’t that spicy. The avocado salmon rice dish will be my next choice when I return. I’ve tried quite a bit of Thai food in town and this place is my favorite so far. I really need to sit down with someone that can explain what I’m reluctant to order as I don’t know half of the menu. I thought that the signs were aligned for me today to start paying attention to Menache Properties. I read a Willamette Weekly article that said they recently bought the old American Banking building which had become a drug den downtown. Hopefully they will fix those problems since they got such a deal on the courthouse steps. But anyway, to tie this all together, this shopping center has space available to be leased that is also owned by Menache Properties or possibly managed. I don’t know the details but they must be local ballers and do business from here to Dallas. Nice shopping center here. So go try...

Pho Chang Thai is an absolute treasure for anyone craving authentic Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere sets the stage for a truly satisfying dining experience.
We ordered a Thai Tea and Thai Coffee to start—both were absolutely delicious. The Thai Tea was perfectly creamy with just the right level of sweetness, and the Thai Coffee was bold, rich, and smooth—an ideal pick-me-up.
For our meals, we tried the Pad Thai and Yakisoba dishes, and both were outstanding. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced—savory, tangy, and not overly sweet—packed with fresh ingredients and just the right amount of heat. The Yakisoba was flavorful and satisfying, with tender noodles and crisp veggies tossed in a savory sauce that brought it all together.
What really sets Pho Chang Thai apart is the attention to detail and quality of ingredients. Every dish tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The staff was friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about the...
