Beacon Center — Attraction in Groveton

Lots of good stores here. Grocery stores, more than one. Drug store? Many options. Specialty stores, like nail work (fingers and toes that is!) - pet supplies - ALL here. Easy to get to, traffic can change many opinions about this, but take away the silly city type drivers, this is a place you can get to with relative ease. Restaurants are here and nearby, the sit down places are here and in the area, table service, good service food and prices. Kids get hungry? Food for them too. Sit down choices and -- fun times too. Before you say it - yes, these are COVID panic situations. What does that mean? You have something to look forward too, fun places and times for all. In a hurry? Fast food places are in this area too. Route 1 (one) traffic is another story. Worry not, more time to eat when stuck in traffic behind a long, long, long, long light, and the chorus of horns. WHAT? Ignore those who are in a hurry, you have your food and cannot move any quicker. Other times, WHAT TRAFFIC?

The resteraunt had 5 tables seated when we got there for an early lunch. We were told we had to wait in the front lobby until another server showed up. We waited 10 minutes to be seated in a practically empty resteraunt, and then waited another 15 to actually get a server. I always tip, I have served before, but on top of everything else the server took out order and ghosted us. We didnt see him until about 25 minutes after our food came. We needed refills, wanted to order more drinks and were planning on dessert but our waiter or lack there of stopped this from happening. The worst part was after I paid (leaving a 5 dollar tip) the waiter tried to show me what the "suggested" tip was. He got pretty upset when I told him that he was lucky to get anything, he was the worst server I had...

Having purchased a refrigerator from this location and finding it was not as described or advertised, I returned to the store to request it be exchanged for the proper refrigerator.

The staff in appliances were extremely helpful. Unfortunately, exchanges are no longer handled at the store. They are handled by a third party who did not return repeated calls.

Because they've never called me back, I've ceased doing all business with Lowe's, and I will buy another refrigerator from another store.

So if you need something this Lowe's generally has a good friendly staff that tries to help but if it involves anything to do with the Lowe's home office or one of the third party vendors go...
