Update: 10/23 (1) Still recommend as its the highest quality co-work space in the area (see below) that I know of, but if you are sensitive on your monthly budget and require flexibility please note that this place used to be truly flexible on month to month billing but has recently started leaning on the 30 day cancellation, even in situations (like) mine where I had a family member with an illness that I was taking care of. (2) T In 3 years I have not been aware of any attempt to "back bill" for usage of a space after hours this which is now taking place and is somewhat surprising. How about a knock to say "Please , we have this space booked . Again, a good solid option , the owner is a genuine guy who is looking to provide best in class option to the community but recently with some noticeable changes in attitude towards treatment of customers in recent months. Seems that they are looking to maximize whatever they can bill me for regardless of the pandemic and being a customer over 3 + years. Old Review: __________ They are at a higher level than most NJ workspaces in terms of knowing/caring about members. Particularly LouAnn is great and the owner Mark is also very hands on and open to listening. I recently upgraded to a dedicated desk space and I was actually on a wait list for several months the space has a robust customer base but not too full yet. I believe that if you join as a cowork member you get priority wait list access to the office spaces which are also mostly fully booked as I understand it. Relatively small which works for me. Very different than a wework and extra programming is still very limited though they just hired a new employee Amanda who is I think trying to get some events / community programming going. Fine by me as I think a lot of wework members are paying indirectly for services they just do not use. I also am not in an industry where I would want to sell to my fellow coworkers (like mortgages or insurance). Sometimes the phone booths are full at peak hours so if you are a sales person (like me) with a lot of calls I recommend at least the professional plus plan which gives you access to 4 hours of closed office time , and more as you need it at a discounted rate of something like $7.50 every 30 minutes which to me is worth it when the 2 booths are both taken up.

I have been a member of office evolution Hackensack for over 6 months now and remain extremely satisfied with my decision. It is bright, clean, has huge windows looking out on beautiful greenery, and can accommodate both endless conference calls and quiet working time. The chairs are ergonomic and comfortable particularly in the conversation rooms, and there are high tables that can be used as a standing desk. Phone booth type rooms are around as well for private calls if necessary. I have had to rent out one of the private offices for a webinar, and found the cost to be exceptionally reasonable for the hour rental. The office is very clean and very well kept and has a well stocked kitchen with utensils, plates, and cups, and there is always fresh coffee and lots of tea selections. It is never overcrowded, and there is plenty of space for social distancing. One thing I appreciate particularly in these times of covid is that whenever someone leaves the office, the management team comes around pretty quickly to sanitise that working space. The other people who use the coworking spaces are unfailingly pleasant, though for the most part people keep to themselves. Finally, the dynamic duo of Mike and Erica are very welcoming, very helpful, and go above and beyond in terms of everything you would want from an office manager. I can't think of a better place to go when I need to get out of my house to work, and all for a reasonable monthly cost. I love this space and will continue to be a member even when my work space in New York opens back up! Edit Feb 2022: I still love coming here, and appreciate the innovations and updates as they evolve to support member needs!

[UPDATE] Two weeks now at OE. So far, it seems that the 'phone conversation in the quiet area' incident was an isolated one. The staff is actually on top of it. They are very attentive to details and are making their best to make the experience as smooth as possible. Even sometimes walking around ans ensuring that everyone is comfortable. I wake up in the morning excited to go there honestly ;) Oh and you also get 24/7 access to the facilities (great for crunch time work) Highly recommended office space in general. [ORIGINAL POST] The staff is really nice. You get parking (outdoors) along with most of the amenities you can expect from a workspace. No gym, but the space is quite affordable, so it balances out in my opinion. OE's co-working area policy is that; in one area, conversations are welcome while the other is a focus/quiet area. My issue is that apparently, the focus/quiet area is not enforced. It is one thing to exchange some quick note with a co-worker there, but quite another to be having a full on casual phone conversation in a so called "focus" area. Had the staff make more of an effort to enforce the policy (to help people who actually want to focus in the "focus" area), they would undisputably deserve 5 star.

This is a great call working space. It’s affordable and they offer many of the accommodations that you would desire from a cool working space. You would be absolutely happy here conducting your business.

But that is not what makes it so special. The people that run this place absolutely care about the people who work from the space. They are the nicest, friendliest, most accommodating people you will meet in the service industry.

Check out this example: I couldn’t make it into my office in New York City today due to inclement weather so I decided to find a coworking space to set up and take care of business. I found Office Evolution Hackensack online and gave them a call to see if they would be open.

I was greeted on the phone by the friendly voice of Lou Ann who runs the front desk and manages the working space. She confirmed they were open, took down my contact information and immediately emailed me directions on how to get there.

I got lost on the way and had to call to figure out where they are. Lou Ann stayed on the phone with me while I was driving around and even in stood outside looking for my car, waving me in.

BUT THATS JUST THE START.

I ran out to grab lunch and while I was out, Lou Ann emailed me to let me know she was going home due to the storm. "You are most welcome to come back & work away but I want to coordinate with you so you can get into the office. Please let me know if Mark should expect you."

I mean seriously, how great is that? I call it outstanding customer service.

This will be my coworking space moving forward, even though there is another one closer...
