I should’ve read the reviews before I stopped by. We were in a rush to grab something quick on the way heading home and my 2 year old was starving.
Unfortunately this is the worst Boston Market meals I have ever experienced. I’m a pretty good Boston Market fan by the branches near me but this location in Hackensack was nowhere near the quality or taste it should represents. Im used to tasty juicy chicken, with great sides to complement it. This location clearly had other ideas on how to cook their food.
The restaurant smells terrible, and you smell it right away when you walk in. It’s like a dirty bathroom odor.
Didn’t think too much of it since we were in a rush, so went ahead and ordered a family meal of 4. Rotisserie chicken was dryer than ever, and had zero flavor. The wings tips and thigh legs were burnt to oblivion and hard. I understood why after I saw a staff put a large skewer of cooked whole chickens into the oven, basically reheating the chickens instead of cooking it from scratch.
The sides, were awful. Everything tasted like it’s been left out for hours. I’m talking about literally everything from broccoli, potatoes, creamed spinach. It’s just bad. It was worse than microwaveable meals.
Lastly, the staff didn’t seem like they want to be there. Zero service. Packaging from the creamed spinach spilled all over and they didn’t bother to wipe it or offer another clean bowl. They asked if we were dining in, and they still didn’t offer any plates, utensils, or even a god damn tray so I had to make 3 trips to my table to carry things one by one.
Just awful. Please...
Read moreWent to Boston Market twice, The first time I ordered the Half Chicken Dinner. I wanted the Prime Rib, I went on a Sunday evening. They told me they don't serve prime rid on Sunday only Wednesday Friday and Saturday, I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich The lady employee was very rude. The Sandwich had a roll that was hard as a rock, the paper wrapper looked rewrapped the bacon was old. I should have brought it back. Instead I changed the bread and ate the sandwich.
I feel sick now and hope I don't end up in getting food poison.
I will never eat at Boston Market 180 Hackensack Ave Hackensack NJ ever ever again.
The Internet clearly stated that they serve prime rid on Monday. The sandwich was very bad. The whole experience makes me never want to eat out again.
When I showed the lady employee there advertised Prime Rib on Monday,. She said in a nasty tone of voice that's wrong and pointed to a sign which said Wednesday Friday and Saturday.
Rude employees bad food not such a clean environment.
Oh I also wanted a side,. I ordered the same side the Sunday I wasn't able to get the prime rid and she charged me $1.99 for it. Tonight she wanted to charge over$3.00 for a smaller portion.
I will never eat there again.
Zero Stars...

Read morePlace an order for delivery which was an option on website for that location. I received an email confirming order # total plus time of delivery and my card was already charged. Due to current events I gave 20 min after my expected delivery time before calling to check in, store clerk said they don't deliver the order was change for pick up. She said there is a mistake on website and it shouldn't have a delivery option. If I was able to pick up I wouldn't place an order for delivery and pay extra for delivery fee? She also said I need to call bank and get that charge cancel I asked her to do a refund she verified card # etc and said ok and hang up without giving any confirmation. Immediately, I placed an order with Applebee's 15 min later I get a text from Boston market delivery person stating my food is downstairs. Whoever the person answering the phone is needs more training on how to properly check order status and to not give no false information to the customer. Last time ordering from this location order...
