Burger King — Restaurant in Hackensack

I like this BK I really do however my experience tonight was not to my liking. I go to this BK every few weeks because the one in Lodi does not agree with me.... and this one is closer. But tonight I was getting my order and everything was going great until the last thing I ordered. I got a deal that was 2 sandwiches and two fries (which I subed in onion rings for) I ordered my drink and then wanted to add mozzarella sticks.... so the screen was showing my order and instead of the sticks showing up under the drink as their own part of the order they replaced one of the onion rings so I stopped her and tried to say no i don't want the sticks instead of the rings I want them as well as the rings.. I didn't get much past the wait not what I wanted part when this rude man came on saying I was confusing the person taking my order then proceeds to simultaneously tell me to tell him my order and to shut up and let him talk. He also misunderstood what I was saying and lied to me all while telling me to let him speak when he was asking me questions that he did not let me answer and when he asked if I wanted anything else and I asked him to read back what was already there he said he already did (which he didn't he took the order can't tell if it's right if he won't tell me what he had) and continued to rush me. If he hadn't butted in the original person and I would have figured it out in seconds .... instead I left feeling belittled and unhappy with the service. This is the first time I felt that my order wasn't worth BKs time and that this guy would rather be...

I usually write mostly positive reviews, but this specific location really encouraged me to do so otherwise.

Reading through other reviews, I found out that this location has been skimping out on sauces. And it's a little comforting that it isn't just me that has been cheated of it. For the last 6 orders, I never once received anything besides ketchup. Some companies pride on their sauces, and it's the selling point. Instead, on your in-person visit, you finally get a sauce, but it's likely in a custom container that looks sketchy at best.

Ever since their Burger King app started to take off and advertised, I gave them a chance, and have probably ordered at least 10 times. The food wasn't always good, but some days they hit the mark. But out of those 10 times, they left out the sauce if I ever ordered nuggets ALL of those times... three times they forgot an item, and we were never properly compensated.

I took to their online complaint, and their customer service gave $5.00 Support, which is like a coupon. If you redeem it, you're no longer able to redeem other coupons or apply for other discounts/deals. So, we get screwed out of using any of those.

Word of the wise for Burger King lovers, check their social media, and look for any positivity. Most of it is negative. And if you want to have a good experience, this location is one of the worst Burger Kings. Look for one that has better recent reviews.

I have been going to this Burger King for years and this is my favorite fast food establishment. The burgers and fries are tasty and satisfying and the service is very pleasant. They take coupons and you an order with the machine or in person. I must also say I am impressed with the manager Benny. The last time I was there an older lady was accusing the staff of losing her credit card. She made a big deal and said she would call the police. The manager remained composed and gracious throughout this whole ordeal promising to help find her card. After all her fuss the lady discovered her credit card was in her wallet!!!! The audacity ! This nice manager was so understanding and stated he was glad she found it. He and his staff deserve credit for the way they dealt with this situation. Again they are always so nice here! They greet me and my four kids very nicely. ...
