I've dealt with this specific Aaron's before and had no issue well not this time. Everyone in the store was great, EXCEPT Chris, the manager. I went to try and find my daughter a laptop for her birthday. We ended up picking one and when the final price was set it was over $1,000 and would be paying $110.00 a month. Yes, that's a little pricey for a USED computer but I guess I expected that since they were letting me have it upfront and just making monthly payments. I ended up having to put $30 down that day towards the computer. Chris was very nice in the beginning and then once we actually picked that computer and went over the paperwork his attitude changed. It wasn't anything to bad that I couldn't handle but when we were leaving I even looked at my boyfriend and said, "geez his attitude changed once he knew he was getting that sale huh?!" Now during our conversation he said at any time I could bring it back with no questions asked, I just wouldn't get any money back that was put towards the computer. Oh and he also said if I gave him 5 stars on his survey I would get a whole whopping $5 back at the end of my bill off of the payment! Haha. Anyways, a few days later we stumbled across a deal for a computer for $300. I live paycheck to paycheck so I figured that was a no brainer. Pay $300 one time VS. $110 a month for 12 months, um yes I think so. I immediately took back the computer. The minute I walked in the door he made a look, mumbled something and walked into his office. The gentleman at the counter was VERY nice and understood completely why I brought it back. The computer came with an anti virus protection and he said, "here take it, put it on your daughters new computer" I thought that was very sweet, I insisted not to take it so he didn't get in trouble. He made me take it! Lol. In the meantime Chris comes out, slams the paperwork on the table I needed to sign and says, "sign it" and took the anti virus right out of my hand, turned around and walked away. I'm sorry but this was uncalled for. He's very rude and there is no sense in it. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a 11 piece bedroom set online from Aarons on Maryland Avenue in Hagerstown, MD, the delivery arrived today; however, when I opened the door to receive the delivery, the driver states that he is not to enter my home to delivery the furniture (blank stare). First of all, I wasn't aware of this when I ordered on 5/11 not to mention I went in the store and still the no contact delivery was ever mentioned. I understand everyone is in an uproar over the pandemic and I took precautions for the delivery, I even met the driver wearing a mask. What don't make logical sense to me, is I'm a single woman, I ordered a King size bedroom set and the male delivery person wants to do a drop and dash, no sir cancel my order, that's ridiculous. What happens to the elderly customers?The store is open, has a revolving door with customers in and out, not to mention the exchange of money and you're promoting a no contact delivery, does this really makes any kind of sense. I understand no contact delivery for food but that doesn't work for furniture delivery, especially large or multiple items. My suggestion is furniture stores need to first stay closed if they can't accommodate the customers. Secondly disclose the no contact delivery so customers would have the option to press arrange the delivery or opt out. I didn't have the option until the furniture arrived and I told the driver to cancel my delivery, I loved the furniture but there's other stores that do deliver properly. I called them on 9/29/2022 or 9/30/2022 to check the status of my order after receiving numerous text messages about me making a payment for something I don't have possession of. The guy from Aaron's told me that they have been calling me since the merchandise got to the store. I check my call logs for all phone calls, I go all the way back to last year on my call logs n there isn't one phone call from this place of business. Called them this morning n the guy was rude n not professional at all. I even asked the guy if he would like to see all my call logs n he said he was done with this cuz his computer keeps detailed information about all calls. He is wrong cuz his computer only keeps track of the text messages cuz there is no phone calls ever made by this business to me before I took it up on myself to check the status of my order. Please stay away from this place they have no customer service skills at all. They could have gave me my merchandise n started the agreement I signed up for over from today's date so we didn't have any problems but...
