Been stuck under this monopoly for 8 years can't wait for Comcast to come in and this company will vanish... can't wait till this stock crashes. Look at the reviews. Management already knows they are horrible.

Here we go again. This is 3 times in 6 months where the service you pay for is not being delivered. Then you try to call and wait an hour to speak to someone. Ridiculous. This current issue is they did an update. Advise unplug router and their devices to fix the problem. Tried this 3 times. Time is money money is time. I'm paying for their service are they going to reimburse mine? Small claims could make it happen. Fact is this service has been horrible since I got here in 2014. Their going to send a tech out on Monday. I have to take time off work lose more money so they can fix their problems. Yesterday my cable worked fine. All of a sudden since they did an update that caused issues across Washington County, I have to take time off from my job so they can fix their issues and on the recorded line, the lady said they would not take my inconvenience from losing work ours or the hour spent off the time today off my bill. Think it is time I speak up for the people who don't and expose this recurring issue with the media so all the people that have to use this service with no choice and the unsatisfied service they consistently deliver from Antietam. I was told just because I don't call every time my comments are not considered but as you can see through these multiple posts not the case. Called and posted numerous times since 2014 on the poor services Antietam Broadband offers. They are all well documented. Seems doesn't matter if you call or write it they don't want to own up for their mistakes, point blank. Very unhappy...

They also didn't even warn me that they were going to dig up my property in three different places. Who gave you the right to do that? How unprofessional are the contractors that you hire to do this? These people are so incompetent that they damaged my main waterline. Because of your company, the City had to send their employees to dig up the asphalt in front of my house to fix the waterline going in to my house. It took them 6 hours to fix this. The city employees immediately found where the waterline was nicked by the morons you contracted to run your broadband orange PVC hose. I now have ugly patches on my lawn with a stupid plastic lid access panel for your company. Did you pay me money to run your broadband through my property? The answer is NO, of course. But it sure as hell is going to cost me money to fix the damage you caused to my property. Don't you dare respond to me with your fake messages of pretending to care. I have already called your company a week ago when this all happened. After spending a long time getting one of your customer service representatives to actually hear me out after the first one just hung up on me. Not one person in charge of your horrible installations of these broadband cables lines has called me. Your company doesn't care. You do what you want.
[UPDATE]- Today is February 20th, 2025. This horrible company hasn't rectified anything with me since August of 2024 when they showed up uninvited and damaged my main waterline on my property. I have also recently noticed that they have moved to a neighboring City of ours and started digging up people's front yards to run their cables. I have yet to actually meet a person that ordered service from these people locally. There are obviously much better options than paying their ridiculous prices for poor broadband. Read moreBeing a loyal customer of Antietam Broadband for almost 40 years apparently means nothing until you tell them you are going with a new to our area competitor.
It really gets me all jacked up when you call a company that you’ve been a customer for many years and ask if your current plan is at its lowest price and if by chance there’s a better plan that gets me more for my money or the same for less money and they say you have the very best plan they have to offer.
You shop the new competitor in town and they off you twice the speed for $10 less with no commitment. You do the obvious… Sign up with the competitor and get exactly what you are promised.
You call you old provider to cancel and a different employee who you really connect with says that he can beat the competition by providing the same speed (or even a little faster) for the same price (only guaranteed to stay at that price for 3 years where the competition guarantees forever)
This irritates me on so many levels. If you can do this now why did I have to call to cancel to get this offer? I am insulted and so disappointed that there was a better offer but I wasn’t offered it until I said “I’m done and want to cancel my service”…
Why do you have to take my money all this time when I could have saved money each month and a better plan for less money.
Why not offer your existing longtime customers better deals before they go looking elsewhere.
Another gripe is that I was told that since I’m in an area where we now have competition I am eligible for a better deal. So I guess if I’m was unfortunately in an area that doesn’t have the competition I wouldn’t be eligible for the better deal even though I may be a 35+ year customer???
It’s pathetic that companies do this especially in these trying economic times. I really feel like Antietam Broadband is a swindler. I think if my older relatives that have been customers for longer than me that have no clue what options they have. I will be talking to all of them and making sure that they take a hard look at...
