I don't want to give them a bad review but they don't necessarily deserve a great one either.First this you notice before entering building is that the front door to lobby has hand prints and what not all over it .That is not a good impression from the start .The staff is helpful enough just hard to understand. There is no breakfast being served. They charge a 25.00 dollar deposit have stayed in much better hotels than this and it's never been required The hallway although clean looks likes it's vacuumed very rarely another bad impression before you even enter your room.We we're very clear we wanted a queen bed and that is what was booked still ended up with a double bed with 2 pillows .Did ask for two more and got them. You enter the room the heating air conditioning unit looks like it's falling off the wall. The floors look clean but the desk looks finger marked and dusty .There's a smaller tv on the wall but it's half hidden behind the fridge microwave lamp ensemble .There is no coffeemaker Limited room cleaning during your stay. You get a dresser but it's got all kinds of debris in it.You can hear other people in the hallway and the rooms .Basically it appears as long as you get a half decent room it's good for one night but I would not recommend a longer stay

Without any doubt, this was the filthiest hotel room I have ever experienced. The remote was mired in filth, and adorned with what looked like a pubic hair. There was some unknown organic matter on the door handle, and the fan in the bathroom was hanging from the ceiling. The smoke detector was covered with what looked to be a shower cap. I am including photos of the soiled items and the cloth I used to clean them (new cloth for each photo). On top of all that, the staff was ruder than I imagined possible after I overslept. Over 40 minutes, they knocked on the door 4 times, to remind me it was 15, 30, 45 min, etc. past standard checkout time. The last gentleman told me to "make haste and be out in 5 min." Because of the dirty condition of my room and the rude staff, I not only do not recommend this hotel, I recommend it be avoided.

In initially seeing the room we paid for at 2:30pm we were disgusted. The front desk was called immediately and we requested clean blankets, towels, and the floor at least swept if not mopped like it needed. The front desk was given permission to go in while we were gone, or come then to do it. The front desk employee said it will be cleaned properly with new linens on the bedding. We returned later this evening finding the same disgusting mess. The front desk worker acted as if they couldn't understand our English, and then told us "No I'm not changing it (the bedding) & Im not cleaning it." The room is disgusting and bug ridden after spending 130.00 dollars for 2 nights. Never again!

WARNING!!!! BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS! I dont think much more is needed to say however I will. First step into the motel it smells like the sewage had exploded into the lobby area. the smell is unbearable even with your mask on! As i waited to be checked in a gentleman in front of me asked for a refund after clearly being in the room. He stated he stayed in the room for 15mins they checked it and gave him a refund bc he stated he was a cop. TO MY SURPRISE they turned around and gave me the same room! LOL. It gets better. After hubby settled in sat at the desk just to be greeted with a bed bug on his hand. He went to the front desk asked Jay/ James to come to his room so he could show him. Jay/ James proceeded to pick up the bug and flush it in the toilet! Hubby asked for a refund Jay/James suggested another room. Hubby accepted but stated if there is another incident we would need to be refunded. WELL..can you guess what happened next? If you guessed more bed bugs..you are RIGHT! Jay/ James was again asked to come to the room and grabbed the bed bugs with ah napkin and tried to leave the room. After going back an forth a bit he agreed to give us the refund which later he refused when he was behind the desk. I demanded my refund he then proceeded to say WE are the ones who brought in the infestation! In all my 40yrs on this earth I NEVER had ANY rodent or bug problem even coming from NY! We have all the coverage on our cell phone, reported this to the local police which I have an incident # for. I called in the morning to ask for my refund once more and was DENIED. I am able to get the day which was not used, however the first night we checked in after 7pm we did not get this refund and I will be filing a claim with my bank and if needed will file a Civil claim in court. After all PROOF NEVER LIES! DISCLOSER: THEY OWN ALMOST ALL THE MOTELS ON THE STRIP SO DONT THINK MOVING TO ANOTHER PLACE WILL HELP! STAFF MEMEBERS AND MORNING MANAGER ARE VERY...

Horrendous. Never again. For starters, the gentleman who initially answered the phone claimed this was a different Super 8 -- he answered "yes" when asked if this was the Hagerstown Super 8 on Blake Rd. (which is an amazing place to stay for the same price). That incorrect answer cost us time and inconvenience when we showed up, luggage in hand, at the wrong motel. Upon eventual arrival at this motel, it was a challenge to even find the door. We parked in the lot, right across from the entrance, checked in, and went to our rooms. They were incorrect beds, dirty rooms, and only 2 small square throw-type pillows for each bed. Very uncomfortable. Old, dirty air conditioner, small TV, crusty and moldy food built up around table legs, some type of residue splattered across the plastic chair, and very minimal lighting. I wish I had thought to take photos. Also a strange scratching/scuttling sound when the lights were out. I'm almost certain there are mice under the beds frames. The hallways and parking lot seemed a bit unsafe, and yelling from a couple different directions could be heard from the parking area. When we returned to our vehicle in the morning to load our luggage, we noticed our visor on the outside of our passenger side window had been yanked off the car and/or shattered, leaving behind only a small portion with jagged edges -- and as I said before, this was parked directly across from the office door! When we notified the desk clerk of this, we received only a blank stare as a reply. (Two others were there in line to complain about the hotel, stating to us that they would also never stay here again.) The rudeness of both desk clerks we came in contact with, as well as the sheer incompetence of the initial person who told us this was a different Super 8, made a horrible experience even worse. Top to bottom, the absolute worst experience I've ever had while traveling. I will never again stay...

BE AWARE OF THESE THIEFS. ||||I recently faced an exceedingly frustrating ordeal with this Super 8 motel in Hagerstown during a long drive in the late hours of April 18, 2024. After booking a room through the Hotels.com app close to midnight, I encountered a hiccup due to the transition into a new day, which inadvertently set my reservation to start later that same day at 3 PM. Arriving at the hotel at 12:05 AM, I hoped for some flexibility given the unusual situation.||||Unfortunately, the counter staff was unyielding and that I would need to pay a walk-in rate if I wanted to stay immediately. This rate was higher than my initial booking. When I asked to simply use my existing reservation for an early check-in, I was flatly refused.||||Seeking assistance, I called Hotels.com, who then contacted the hotel on my behalf. The Super 8 staff member stated they needed to consult with the manager about potentially refunding the charge due to the misunderstanding caused by their booking system. After an anxious wait of 72 hours, I was ultimately informed via email that the hotel would not issue a refund, nor accommodate an earlier check-in to allow me some rest.||||This experience was not only inconvenient but also felt like a blatant exploitation under the circumstances. The lack of empathy and customer support from the Super 8 hotel staff was appalling. I was forced to seek accommodation elsewhere, and thankfully, a competitor hotel provided a favorable deal that helped alleviate some of the stress from this ordeal.||||I strongly advise against staying at this Super 8 hotel. The service was profoundly lacking in flexibility and understanding, critical qualities one would expect from hospitality services. This experience left a sour taste, and I would recommend potential guests look to other hotels in the area that value customer care and...
