Hager Hall Conference & Event — Attraction in Hagerstown

Cute event center, a kind of rustic look... Maybe not renovated in a while, but a nice place!

Many conference rooms, attended a catered event and the food was great!!

Had lunch earlier in the day at the attached restaurant (same owners, I believe hotel attached is owned separately though, cannot speak to it). The restaurant was great, I had the crab cake sandwich, which was huge. Had a few wings too, the service was great, and the food delicious!

This was my first time here, and I wasn't terribly impressed. I was there for a large event, so I'm willing to overlook a lot in that situation, but the food was inedible. It had obviously been sitting for a long time, and no one at my table ate anything (we were all a little concerned about food safety.) The staff didn't interact much, but they were pleasant. I was there for a rather large event. Compared to sit down dining the service was slow. I can understand that with food when serving individually ordered meals to several hundred people at the same time. The drinks, however, were needlessly and painfully slow on drinks.
