Cate Square Park — Attraction in Hammond

I love this PARK, and here's the secret that I learned about one of the Statues; well both and it's through iFOR, LLC DIALOGUE-IN. It's where I'm the Creator, Founder and Owner. This is a nice park! It's family friendly! The playground has two different age group sections so nobody gets hurt playing, a merry-go-round, multiple swings, and benches so that the parents can sit on them and watch their children play. The gate even latches back that way no child/children can leave out without the parent/parents knowing about it. They have a gazebo where a lot of people who's their children's birthday parties at! They even have a nice little picnic area set-up for families and then on the other side they have a time capsule but it can't be open until I think 2030 was the date on it! The only problem/bad thing is that they do not have restrooms available for people to use while there at the park maybe they might want to look into putting restrooms up or even port a potty's for people to use while there so that way they don't have to load up their children and leave just so they can use...

There are no bathrooms or pavilions here as of 2017. The water fountains work sometimes. The playground is fenced and is non-smoking grounds. Oak trees are bountiful here. Outside play ground area is pet and 🐶 dog friendly. A memorial of Mr. Cate is erected in this park. An unleveled, brick sidewalk surrounds the block. A concreted, ceiled utopia is at this location surrounded by a beautiful flower garden (Hammond Rotary Club & Lions Club).
